I don't care about doping, really. Doping has been a part of bicycle racing since, well, probably forever. These guys are always going to be one step ahead of the tests.

I just hate guys that go overboard trying to pretend how pure they are. Its like cheating on a math test and then going on and on about how hard you studied, when everybody knows you wrote the answers on your arm. Just be more laid back about it. God, what a douche.

just like any tour rider, he simply wouldn't have been a tour rider in the first place without doping. it's just the reality now.

I don't know that is an accurate statement since Festina in 98. Tour organizers have taken huge PR hits mostly thanks to their own exposing of doping and I suspect it isn't for no reason.

and further, even though you still have to be the best of the best athlete to succeed even with the doping, you have to be good at diguising it, so the tour is really about being the best rider, with the best team, with the best doping schemes.

you sound like the French during Armstrong's reign at TdF. Although you left out that Armstrong was the first specialist to gear his entire season around one race.

being laid back isn't really an option when winning the biggest race (and pretty much only that race) every year demands so much single minded preparation.

the case here is not about cycling as much as if WE, THE PEOPLE,are gonna keep following and admiring the 'equivocada' elite..

The public has been following the elite races of cycling for a long time and I don't see it changing.

Fuck all this. I'll admit it. I'm all about cheating to go faster, so let me ask: I've been giving my bicycle EPO all year long, and still can't lower my ride-to-work time. Should I give it 'roids too, or will the associated weight gain just slow me down on the climb?

you should try helium enemas. although, when you talk out of your ass afterwards, you'll sound like Donald dUck.

I don't think you'll find many who believe that doping in sport is ok, especially considering its effects on less than very elite levels (youth in particular)

And carbon. Lots of carbon.

CARBON FIBER EVERYTHING!!!!

Does carbon fiber give you lighter fluffier poops, is it better than metamucil?

if everyone uses carbon the inevitable carbon shortage (do the math!) will bring about the end times

can't say i really understand all the hate directed at armstrong.

Cause he's so goddamn self-righteous and smarmy about it. Can't he just be cool, instead of acting like a dickhead all the time?

not quite sure what you're going on about, not even sure what "it" is referencing above.

shit, the dude won the tour 7 times in a row, doing the same damn cheating as everyone else, absolute heart of a lion, trained like a maniac, and has raised what, hundreds of millions for cancer research and treatment.

what do you do? sit around and spray about his shortcomings on an internet bb.

enough said.

most cyclists cant afford a private jet to go and get their blood removed and stored for a big race....

and that's why he won. not cuz he out-worked out-trained out-planned (and yes out-foxed) everyone.

jesus, you should learn about cycling.
