Idea is, simply, that you can purchase marginal "tents" or shelters, that are functionally equal, for a very high or a very low price.

 

Fuck that!! I can out cheap you any day! I sleep in two contractor grade garbage bags. No sleeping bag. I just get into my 90L back pack and stuff all my other crap around me for insulation.

 

BTW, I also found it to be cheaper to use deck screws in my boots. Saved hundreds of $$$ over those silly crampons all the pussies these days use.
