tvashtarkatena Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Fill a 55 gallon drum full of nails, then empty a 5 gallon propane tank into it. Blow your duck call, lighter in hand. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Send the dog home. You won't need him. Quote

Fairweather Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Chewack River Ranch. Summer of 1986. Groundhog. 6 feet. 12 gauge. #4 shot. What a mess. My wife didn't speak to me for three days. My brother worked summers there and bagged over 130 of the little buggers with a .22 magnum rifle. Quote
olyclimber Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 The last time I killed a bird was in high school. I fired a twelve gauge into a flock of starlings. Six fluttered to the ground, where they lay, helpless tufts of dying dinosaur DNA, twitching. I cried and cried, then wrote a poem about it. I did the same while working on a farm. I never seems to work during duck season though... Funny how that happens. ur both queer. Quote
