fern Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 last weekend there was a purple camalot stuck but rattly on Godzilla. A long nut-tool and needle nose vicegrips would probably get it out. Quote

Dru Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 dynamite...trained snafflehounds...robotic bomb defuser...chisel and pick hammer... Â i saw once where some idiotz in Britain pried off a 10 foot flake from a 20 foot "route" (they got short routes there) first done by Joe Brown in the day, just to get a HB flexiCam. i mean who wants that junk anyways! now if it had been a zerocam destroying a route for it would be OK! Thinker Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 I hear a little axle-grease in the crack will help slide those fixed cams out, too. Quote
iain Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 makes for a friendly placement for the next guy! nothing like a greased-up #0.5 finger crack! Quote

thelawgoddess Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 anybody got a copy of the index guide i can copy? i tried printing parts of it off the internet but it's not very easy to read. that, or do you know if they're still selling it somewhere? Quote
fern Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 the Index general store has the Clint Cummins one Quote
mattp Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 Pick up Darryl Cramer's "Sky Valley Rock." It is pretty well done, and in addition to Index it includes Static Point and some sport climbing up behind Mt. Persis. Quote
mattp Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 Fern - Â By the way, does the Index General Store still sell it copied onto pink paper? A few years ago they tried to create their own fascimile of a copyright by copying Cummins' guide onto paper that was dark enough so that you couldn't re-copy it. Quote
fern Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 I saw one white copy, not bound in any fancy way. Quote
