Cascade Select Volume #3 ?

With apologies to Jim and Peter, I dont intend on writing some new book. First,I would not be able to put together work near as fine as yours, some of my favorite all-time guidebooks.Second, well I dont need a second reason, but I would encourage a trilogy of your books!!

 

Instead, I hope to put together modest web-page of Trip Report Links that cover great routes that have been REALLY overlooked or are one of the more recent reports on new routes.The climbs should be of great quality and good available beta links. The page will have winter routes too. How could you leave out 3-Fingers or the new ice route on Whitehorse?

 

So here is a great place to post some of the sveet.Please include links.

Jim: dont publish a vol 3 until some one at least climbs all the climbs in Vol 1 or 2

I hear that 3 fingers route is way over rated. WI3+ at most.

Porter, seems like your hijack was a bit different than wayne's post.

 

I got the impression wayne wanted quality routes not in the current select guides, but with TR links. Maybe I am wrong.

Some routes that come to mind:

 

-The new / old / variation routes on the north face of D-Tail;

-Jens and whose? new route near the Boving Route on D-tail;

-The winter routes on Snow Creek Wall;

-Berdinka's routes up Green Creek;

-Blake / Sol's routes near Gunsight;

-At least one of Blake's routes on WA Pass;

-Winter routes on Summit Chief

-"Intravenious" winter route on Chiwawa;

-Sweet Renton Granite.
