The Letter on the Lincoln Website is almost as funny.

 

 

Dear Parents,

 

We have received word that a letter, on imitation Lincoln High School letterhead and signed by “The Lincoln High School Faculty and Administration,” has been sent to several households. This letter advises parents to hold an after-prom party and to supply the kids with alcohol. Additionally, the letter includes a citation regarding increased sexual activity with the use of alcohol and includes a condom.

 

Lincoln High School did not send this letter—we were alerted by parents who were disturbed with its messages and we will be referring the incident to district and legal authorities. If anyone is aware of the author(s) of this letter, please contact me—along with the district mandated consequences, we would appreciate speaking to the student(s) about the wasted human and natural resources this “joke” represented. We cringe at the possibility that any parent or community member would take this letter seriously and think that the values represented were true to Lincoln High School faculty and students.

My high school's prank was much better...similar idea but in regards to sexual activity. Something about providing rooms and condoms for couples to experiment or something along those lines. It was written in the principals style, used the districts letterhead and envelope and the principal's signature. Best of all, there was a section you cut off and returned to the school where you checked which option you wanted your kid to participate in.

This shit is soooo funny! At my sons school, they planted flowers in the shape of a peace sign, @50' across after having a peace sign in the window became a conservative talk shows issue.

 

Then the girl fessed up and had to replant with brand new grass.

 

So a bunch of volenteers helped her, but she put in a different species of grass - it's soooo obvious theres a peace sign.

And to think I had to sneak beer and wine from my parents or get a friend of a friend to buy it. Modern society rules.

ahhh, that - as yes, well then, i have no idea if my school's seniors did one this year - i'm pretty clueless as to what's going down on the cool scene - more so perhaps, if its even possible, as an adult then when i was a kid.
