Tips for decreasing color bleed from shoes

Recommended Posts

Like it says, does anyone have any tips, besides being patient, to decrease the amount of ink that bleeds from my shoe onto my feet. My shoes are only about 3-4 weeks old, so it still may get better, but my feet are nearly totally red after about 45 minutes of climbing inside, so once the summer picks up, it will be a blast.

So far all I have thought of is rinsing them in warm water a lot.

It is now to the point where in the walk home from the gym the ink runs through my socks and onto the inside of my street shoes. Please help, I am getting sick of pink socks.

Thanks,

John

visine is supposed to "get the red out"

But on a more serious note, I'm not sure how to decrease the red bleed, but I wouldn't rinse them in water if they're leather because they may stretch or shrink or do other undesirable things.

Sounds good, I'll tell them that people on the internet said colored feet/socks are hot. Thanks, sucking it up is the most cheap imagine that, so thats what it is.

Living abroad in self-imposed exile after his acquittal on child molestation charges a coupla years back.

But your joke is well-taken. :laf:

You can sort of lock in color on cotton clothes by soaking in cold-vinegar/water for an hour then running through the wash. Maybe it works for shoes too. try and let us know!
