pink Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) got a problem with free speech? Â who cares, the democrats don't stand a chance this year. Edited January 30, 2008 by pink Quote
Doug Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 and that has what to do with an individual apparently not liking what I said? Quote
Fairweather Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 ...the manner in which you said (wrote) it. I've heard Rush doesn't like McCain either. How does that jibe with your theory? Free speech works all around. Even for Rush Limbaugh. Cry baby. Quote
Doug Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 No tie between Rush & McCain. Rush has long touted the theory that Billary runs the demorcatic party. Hopefully, the people of this nation and not a political party will determine the outcome of this election. Truth be know, at this point I'm pulling for McCain. Still too early to tell though. Fairweather Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) Lotta liberals are OK with McCain. That's fine, but just realize he has an 82% lifetime rating with the American Conservative Union. If that's not good enough for Limbaugh, I don't know what is. I suppose he probably wants Hillary to win. Good for his ratings, I'm sure. Hendershot Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 With Edwards dropping out, I am speculating that Hilary and Obama will try to get him as their running mate. Â Â Quote
olyclimber Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Well I suspect that Edwards is saavy enough to know that he is in a powerful place in a close Democratic primary...and may use his endorsement as collateral for being VP. Quote
Al_Pine Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 So which candidate benefits from Edwards being out? The radio people were saying this was very unexpected. Something tells me that a deal has already been done. Quote
olyclimber Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 You're probably right Mr. Pine. I listened to him speak after SC and he basically said he was in it for the long haul with an eye on using his backing to influence....this is quite a change so he must have found a way (such as endorsement in exchange for the vp slot) Quote

Al_Pine Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Tell us more of this intolerant good-old-boyishness. What's the scoop? Â I guess it will be blasted 24/7 by liberal media once he's the nominee, but I am impatient. Quote

yeah this one has really surprised me. the guy is an intolerant good ol' boy, and some "progressives" sing his virtues. amazing.  It's also a completely unsupported statement. McCain is an engaging character with a good sense of humor, but his proposed policies are text book Cut Taxes - Cut Government - Bloat the Military conservative. The man has zero new ideas, and liberals are certainly not OK with him. Edited January 30, 2008 by tvashtarkatena Quote
