devinejohnny Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Climbed the west ridge of Stuart (CTC, 14 hrs, BTW) this past Tuesday. In the heavy Mazama summit register, in addition to the normal trash, we found a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Awesome or disrespectful? Quote
hefeweizen Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 That depends, were the pages stuck together? Quote
olyclimber Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I think it was pretty disrespectful...if I'm going to climb up there I expect to be seeing more skin...maybe Hustler or Penthouse. Last I checked the SI Swimsuit just has a bunch of gals with swimsuits ON. Quote
underworld Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 the summit is only the half-way point ...IF you know what i mean Quote
devinejohnny Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 They had a bunch of those painted on swimsuits in this tissue, I mean issue. Just save some energy for the descent, underworld. Quote
selkirk Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Descent, phheewww... I can fall down any gully you can point me at. Quote
kevbone Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 14 hours car to car is nice......great job. Quote
layton Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 The objectification of women on the summit of one of Gaia's, the nurturing Earth Mother, most soul-inspiring jewels, hurts my mind, hurts the body whole, and hurts my spirit. I sing the body electric. Quote
jordop Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man. Quote
