Would this group also be considered the most remote in British Columbia? (By remote, I mean from any logging road.) Dru Posted November 22, 2002 Share Posted November 22, 2002 Probably the Cassiar or Omineca Ranges, and yep. I dont know of anyone who has ever really visited any of them. Probably a lot of unclimbed peaks. Of course they tend not to be all that spectacular... highest ones are mid 2000ms, like 2700... not many big walls either I don't think. The Omineca is the same geological body as the Purcell-Selkirk group (think Bugaboos??) supposed to be lots of granite according to my geological courses.
