Cobra_Commander Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 It was funny to begin with, but that dancing cat over by the alley at 2:14 took it over the top Quote
jordop Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 "CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I HAVE THREE CHILDREN IN MY CAR!!!!" Quote

Cobra_Commander Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 seriously the first guy seems to be trying to hit everything he can. it's like he's driving a powerboat. a powerboat...of destruction. Quote
olyclimber Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Â i found this photo of the guy training for this event. I think its clearly a gold metal. Definitely in the top 10 all time greatest. Quote
olyclimber Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 But the other guy gets some points for speed. I believe he had the highest speed collision, ramming the CRV into oblivion. he'll be one to watch next year. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 indeed, and stealthily using an untraceable outback, which seem to be distributed for free somewhere in portland. Â in other portland news, the news reports new aerial tram continues to run despite the snow!!! can you believe it?! Quote
olyclimber Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 how is that possible? and how did the guy in the SUV miss it? surely he hit everything else. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 he's still spinning, there's hope yet. Â some folks really, really need to get into full ski regalia and go stand at the lower tram station and freak out the patients/snooty doctors getting on in the morning. Quote
olyclimber Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 go down there dressed up like a jiggy snowboarder dude and slide in front of them in the lift line. Quote
RogerJ Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 some folks really, really need to get into full ski regalia and go stand at the lower tram station and freak out the patients/snooty doctors getting on in the morning. Â There is a group assembling this AM to do exacltly that! Â Tomorrow (Wednesday) is a snow day for Rev. Phil's trial. He'll keep us posted on the reschedule. I hope they keep pushing it back long enough for it to be delcared a mistrial. We'll see. Meanwhile, I hear that there's a chairlift running to the OHSU ski resort. Phil and I are going to check that out tomorrow. Feel free to join us. Â Â Â Quote
iain Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 haha I enjoyed reading your commuting tale yesterday on the shift list Quote
John Frieh Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I wanna know who is going to bag the FA of the tram tower... I think you'd have to slide the cable down from the hill... Â RogerJ: do you live/work near OHSU? Quote
RogerJ Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 haha I enjoyed reading your commuting tale yesterday on the shift list  Oh Oh... I was outed as a Shifty!  John I ride past that OHSU tram daily, but live at Mt Tabor where I practice my alpine skills and acclimatizing to 600 feet elevation. I think the Tram Station looks like the alien craft in the latest War of the Worlds movie.  What are the legal consequences of scaling the tower? It might be worth it... Especially a FA.  -r  Quote
John Frieh Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Legal consequences would only apply if one got caught  A speedy descent would be key... perhaps a BASE jump to a waiting boat... I think I saw it done in one of the recent Bond movies Quote
iain Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 What are the legal consequences  Incarceration in the chairlift mines of Dopplemayr, where the foul odor of stinking raclette wafts through the tunnels. Quote
RogerJ Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Incarceration in the chairlift mines of Dopplemayr, where the foul odor of stinking raclette wafts through the tunnels. Â Do they have an internet connection? Could I still post to cc.com? Quote
iain Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 yes but everything is translated into impenetrable swiss german. even the germans can't decode it. basically you would break down and cry. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 The German autobahn might be the capitol of the high speed 50 car pile up, but, as this video demonstrates, we Americans don't feel the need to rush the best moments in life. Quote
