skykilo Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Dear CascadeClimbers, Please quit trying to ice climb in the Alpental valley. There is way too much snow. You will surely die in an avalanche. Everything is just a snow slog. Ice climbing must be better elsewhere. Also, you are likely to get a haircut from a skier hucking your little "crux pitches" during a fabulous extremo white-room descent. With kind regards and best intentions, skykilo Better than ice climbing: Photo courtesy of Tony_Bentley. These icicles are fatty now. I saw two "ice climbers" playing at the base of this formation just yesterday. Haircut, haircut, haircut... Thank you for allow skier to post. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Sky, I am in desparate need of a haircut. C'ya on the slopes Quote
skykilo Posted December 26, 2006 Author Posted December 26, 2006 I really didn't mean to motivate long-haired climbers to come in search of haircuts. Should be all right though, as long as you wear a helmet and shoulder pads. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Do I need to bring my own bowl?? Quote
skykilo Posted December 26, 2006 Author Posted December 26, 2006 A safety break might be a good idea before we try this little stunt. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 I have a video camera. Just think, if it doesn't work, you could always submit the video to the Darwin Awards. Quote
Tony_Bentley Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Are you serious? Someone was going up this? Quote
