Dave_Schuldt Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I'm down for Thursday. Need ride from Seattle or Issaquah or.... will check bus schedules later. Quote
rocketsocks Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I should be able to make it Wed. this week. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 For the Wednesday crowd: Â We meet at the QFC parking lot on NW Gilman in Issaquah at 4:30pm. If you take the Highway 900 exit off of I-90 east, make a right at the end of the off ramp and then an immediate left at the first light (NW Gilman). The QFC is the very first drive on the left-hand (North) side of the road and we usually meet near the entrance. Looks like the weather is going to be pretty sweet, so bring your bug juice so you don't end up getting eaten like Gary. Â Plan on getting back around 10:30pm at Issaquah unless you don't like to drink and eat grub after climbing Quote
Ned_Flanders Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Is anybody heading wed or thurs from Seattle. I live/work in wallingford and have no wheels. They were stolen in eastlake about a month ago. Â -J Quote
IceIceBaby Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I would like (LOVE!!!) to go too but I have no car, (just came back from 8 moths of army training...no time/money yet to activate my insurance and registration) neri 206-328-2446 Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 I've got a full vehicle leaving out of downtown. If you can make it out to Issaquah we should be able to accomodate. Quote
iwan2climb Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I might try and make it too if I can get out of work on time. Do you know what area (wall) you will be climbing at - I'd have to meet everyone around 6 or 6:30. Quote
IceIceBaby Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Probably the usual shpill most will be at Deception crags but some will go to the Far Side Quote
catbirdseat Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Right now we're leaning towards Amazonia or Substation and climbs from 5.10a to 5.10c. Quote
Kitergal Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 6/28! I'm in for this Wednesday. I've got a full car and a full range of experience coming with me (one doods never been before...EVER and another has a flippen gym that rivals stone gardens in his barn!) so yeah...where you guys gonna be at this week? Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 Why don't we just go to your buddies barn? At least then stonefall won't be an issue  Probably be at Amazonia or Nevermind since they are in the shade. Quote
catbirdseat Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I'm on for Wednesday this week. Â How about the Trestle Area? There are some routes I'd like to do in the Substation and on the second level above Deception. Quote
Kitergal Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 because some of us aren't good enough to climb nevermind or amazonia w/e!! Â shade!! How ya supposed to work on a tan if you're in the shade!?!? Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 because some of us aren't good enough to climb nevermind or amazonia w/e!! shade!! How ya supposed to work on a tan if you're in the shade!?!?  Last time I was at Amazonia, I got some prussik practice in since I am so much suck. I worked on my tan too much this past weekend and now can't shave my chin because it's blistered up so bad.  I always seem to miss one area every time I lather up the sunscreen.  I wanna give "She's only nice to me when she ties me up" a go if we go to Substation. Might end up doing some more trundling though, too. Quote
mattp Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Isn't late afternoon the only time that Nevermind is actually NOT shaded? Quote
mythosgrl Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I have been climbing a little and would also like to meet up with you all tomorrow. Do i need to bring any draws or rope? I have a rope and a few draws. Just let me know! Quote
rocketsocks Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I just started a new job this week so I won't be able to make the 4:30 meetup, but I should be able to head out there later on. Where is everyone planning on going? I'd be interested in the trestle area again. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 I'm out sick today, so I won't be climbing. Â Have fun without me. Quote
Kitergal Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I have a group heading to the Far Side. We're meeting at the QFC in Issaquah at 5:30...not sure if that's late enough for you or not! Â Otherwise...meet us at the far side! Quote
mythosgrl Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Are we all meeting at 4:30 at QFC tomorrow (July 5th)? Quote
RocNoggin Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 do you know where you are going yet? I would be coming down from the Pass and would like to meet you all for some climbing. Quote
