knotzen Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 I like the way this judge thinks: Rowdy Fan Deprived of Super Bowl Wednesday, January 18, 2006; Posted: 11:59 p.m. EST (04:59 GMT) CLEVELAND (AP) -- The fan who ran onto the field at Cleveland Browns Stadium during a Steelers-Browns game was sentenced to spend Super Bowl weekend in jail. Nathan Mallett, 24, will begin his three-day sentence on February 3 and won't be allowed to watch the February 5 game on television or listen to it on radio. Municipal Court Judge Joan Synenberg on Tuesday ordered Mallett not to attend Browns games in Cleveland or any other city for five years as a condition of his probation. He also must perform 150 hours of community service with Browns charities. Everyone else out there has to wait to be told what to do from the sidelines. Then they stand around for ten minutes while some other guys measure the measure the field. Duh!!! Outran a couple of security guards and just kind of stopped by the end zone. Another security guard was feeling heroic and tackled the shit out the poor bastard. Everybody booed the guard.
