chucK Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Check out the recent posts on Baghdad Burning. The top post starts off with her description of loverd ones being rounded up in the night, killed and tortured, and of how this breeds more hate and more violence ... Then you can move on to discussion of the torture houses and abductions perpetrated by the Iraqi's currently in power ... Finally on the third post you get to read her musings on the scenario of innocent families burned to the bones by white phosphorus... That part stopped me... sheesh, it's as bad as reading one of those action news blow-by-blows of a child abuse/abduction case... Anyway, just in case anyone's feeling the need for a little angst/depression Quote
sexual_chocolate Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Dude you have developed an addiction. I had it for a while too, but had to let it go when I figured out that my addiction just wasn't doing anything for me. It's like the war has become Jerry Springer for many of us. Bread and Circus. sexual_chocolate Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Yikes. That's not what I meant....An article that ignores what this war was about in the first place! Quote
JayB Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Lots of other Iraqi bloggers out there. Of course, one has to remember that those who express opinions that vary from those that predominate on the moveon.org message board are all CIA plants - but they make for interesting reading nonetheless. Dru Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Better to pay for good news stories than to bomb al-Jazeera. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Did anyone hear Bush's speach today, what a moron. Keep after him, we got him in a corner. I predict massive anti way demonstrations this spring. I will be there and so should you. Quote
knelson Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 ...I predict massive anti way demonstrations this spring. I will be there and so should you. Can I nominate this for "Best Dave_Schuldt typo"? It's not particularly funny, but it just makes me snicker for some odd reason. And why the hell are we waiting until spring? Quote
