TrogdortheBurninator Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 That is ridiculus. I don't think he is human. Quote
bigwalling Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Ha I don't even have to open that and I already know what you are talkin about. That guy must be so fucking strong in both the body and mind! Quote
olyclimber Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 damn. This is bigger than Lance Armstrong landing on the moon. "I guess even the best climbers can look a little tired on V7 after climbing 5000 feet. " Quote
catbirdseat Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 He had to tick some micro edges with chalk. That's cheating! Quote
northwest_dad Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Outrageous, what do you think he REALLY has in his water bottle? Liquid crack or something? Most amazing free climbing ever...... Quote
foraker Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I don't know whether to feel inspired or depressed ... Quote
Greta Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Well. I guess I should start looking for another project Quote
Ed_Seedhouse Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 So apparently the Nose still awaits an all male free ascent. When are you guys gonna get on the ball here, eh? Quote
Dru Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Well since he led all the pitches that be definition is an "all male free ascent". Do you mean an "all male team free ascent"? Quote
Ed_Seedhouse Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Well since he led all the pitches that be definition is an "all male free ascent". Do you mean an "all male team free ascent"? Yes, and they gotta swing leads too, according to the rule, which I just made up. Quote

lancegranite Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Better to frame in the fourth bedroom, a open loft makes the rest of the house harder to heat in the winter. French doors might be a good compromise. Quote
olyclimber Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 yes, but an open loft gives you a better feeling of open space. and besides, that isn't much square footage to heat anyway. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Mad props to Tommy Caldwell for the big send. Equally mad props to Lynn Hill for having it take 10-15 years before someone could repeat the feat. Climbers, and athletes in general, are stronger and better every year, and records rarely last long. Quote
