bunglehead Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Come on you lurkers. Post! I'm getting on a plane tomorrow for the first time in 12 years, and I'm worried that I'm gonna die, so make my (potentially) last day on Earth filled with joyous spray. The reuglar spraymasters have been doing admirably, but goddamnit we need fresh blood, er I mean friends. Do it! Post! Or I might have to do the CARE BEAR STARE Wee caaaarrre...Weee caaarrre......Weeee...Caarrrre! Quote

sobo Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Delta and NW just filed for bankruptcy protection, so they've got nuthin' left to lose if their planes fall out of the sky. That make you feel any better? Quote
bunglehead Posted August 18, 2005 Author Posted August 18, 2005 Oh yeah. I feel much Better now. I'm flying America West, and of course I read in the paper 2-3 weeks ago that 2 of their pilots were arrested for running up a 122 dollar BAR TAB before they were about to fly. The agents let them pull out onto the Tarmac where the plane was stopped and they were arrested. Go TSA! Quote
Dru Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 The little village of B'ar Tab has been invaded 5 times by American forces in search of Osama bin Laden. So far they have found nothing but it doesn't stop them from returning again and again. Quote
archenemy Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Did you know that under sudden cabin depressurization not only do your eardrums explode, but so does your dental work? Quote
ChrisT Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 where you going? Â I was thinking the same thing except I was too busy lurking. Quote

sobo Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 And take comfort in knowing that if the plane loses engine power, it will probably have enough altitude and airspeed to make it all the way to the crash site. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 And take comfort in knowing that if the plane loses engine power, if it will probably have enough altitude and airspeed to make it all the way to the crash site. Â Not necessarily true. Peter Puget posted a link to a news story that disproves this theory. Quote
Ireneo_Funes Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I'd be pretty depressed if I got my news from news sources, though. Quote
bunglehead Posted August 18, 2005 Author Posted August 18, 2005 detroit? shit, dude ... i'm so sorry! Â If I had a functional camera, I'd take some photos of my shitty, decayed home town for y'all. Maybe I'll try to hook one up in Detroit. It's less than lovely. Quote
sobo Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 These are pretty cheap... Â And it's recyclable. Quote
Camilo Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I'm flying tomorrow too. If we were on the same plane, I'd hold your hand to make it easier. However, I'm off to Chile. When you take off, press your hand against the window and I'll do the same. I'll be there with you, like in the movies. Quote
