WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

she's kidding...

Of course I am....:) If only experienced people are going then I'd have to stay home too smile.gif

I have to say though...I'm playing referee this year and if anybody gets outta hand, well I'll...I'll....I'll....well, no pointy sticks or out of control people please. Last year was alot of fun until the very end. Sorry to bring that back up but we don't want a repeat.

With that said, I hope everybody from last year comes and we get some new ones as well smile.gif

So far, we've got 4 sets of parents committed to camping and one just committed...that would be RuMr...when they letting you out Rudy? wave.gif

can kidless people go if they act like kids??

Anybody can go as long as they aren't a pediphile...:) The more the merrier...and in retrospect, the more adults, the more belayers and ropes for the squidlets!

I am trying to get that weekend freed up but there are birthdays and the sacred soccer games.

Remember, no drinking or cussing in front of the kiddies.

Myself and my little Sendbot Ulysses are definitely in. In fact, even if it is raining, we will go up and camp out. That's because we're hardcore.

Oly,

How old is Ulysses, what shoe size does he wear, and where did you find the "creepers" for him?

My little Nicholas is in the market for rock shoes...

olyclimber-

Thanks for the info. Nicholas just turned 3 last month, and wears a size 9 right now. I'll have to check and see if they have anything that small, as he's expressed interest in "going climbing with Daddy" lately. He likes to fondle the gear... a good start, I should say. grin.gif

SnowByrd-

Ixnay on the Kids Rope-Up this year. I have live helo training with my unit and Tacoma Mountain Rescue this weekend, scheduled long ago. Looking foreward to KRU next year, though... however, I expect to have my virginity deflowered by my first attendance at the "adult" ( yellaf.gif ) version of KRU at the end of this month...

I'm going to be in L'worth this weekend, camping elsewhere, but plan to stop in and say wave.gif Friday or Saturday evening. No kids (haven't got any), just my doggers.
