KaskadskyjKozak Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 I was struck with total disbelief by a news report on the speculation around Rehnquist's resignation. As Rehnquist walked to his car, a reporter asked "is it true that you are considering retiring?". His answer "that's for me to know and you to find out". WTF!?!?! It's nice to see our Chief Justice has graduated from the Pee-Wee Herman school of debate. Quote
cj001f Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Given how much speculation has gone around - can you blame him? Quote
Lionel_Hutz Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 That quote cracked me up when I read it the other day. Rehenquist may be an ultra-evil judicial activist of the highest order, but at least he's got a sense of humor. Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 I suppose the only resolution is to ask Cowboy Curtis what he thinks. Quote
olyclimber Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 A more appopriate comment would have been "I know you are, but what am I?" Quote
archenemy Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 i am rubber you are glue what you say bounces off me and sticks to you Quote
Kraken Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 or he could have -stuck out his tongue -turned around and mooned the reporter -made a pig nose -or made the 'neener neener neener' sound Quote
Dru Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 he could have sean-penned the reporter upside the head for being such a dumbass paparazzo. wtf, couldn't they find jacko to ask him how many boys he's bedded since he was acquitted? Quote
Dechristo Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 That's for him to know and you to find out. Quote
