TheJiggler
Is F!@#ing amazing. Check it out. It even knows about Snow Creek Wall ? How I've got no idea!
TrogdortheBurninator
I was playing around with MS streets and trips and my GPS a few months back while driving to leavenworth, and while it knew practically none of the I-90, Blewett Pass, or Enchantment peaks, it did have the snow creek wall. Go figure.
Dru
I heard Snugtop runs Google. Maybe she put it on there. Now the question is, can you find the Nodder using the mapping service?

Kitergal
it's "taking a breather"!! WTF! I'm too late!!! Â "Welcome, frustrated would-be planet surfer. Â We appreciate your interest in accessing 3D geospatial information, but due to the technical limitations of this beta launch, Google Earth has been forced to take a brief breather. Please check back with us soon. Â Thanks, Â The Google Earth Team"
mec
Google rocks!!! but it sucks, I am not part of the google 'in crowd' so I don't hear about these things until it is too late...
Alasdair
Note that most of the major mapping sites use the same raw data. Microsoft, Google, mapquest etc. So it is not suprising that they both have snowcreek wall. As far as mapping for the northwest mountaineer goes I can assure you that MS streets and trips is likely to have the more peaks listed than any of the other programs. And while you may not be able to find some of the i-90 peaks using search, I can assure you they are there.
Gary_Yngve
The USGS has a database of landmarks and coordinates. Snow Creek Wall is most certainly in that set. Â Much of the Google Earth project was acquired from Keyhole. I had the pleasure to play with Keyhole's software back in 2002; below was a sample screenshot: Â
