barkernews
Hi everyone! I know I'm going to get flamed for this post... but I gotta do this: I need help. As some of you know, I'm a television reporter for KATU TV in Portland. I'm also a climber. Now my boss has decided that, since I can do both, I should climb Mount Hood and do a live broadcast from the summit sometime this summer. Doing so involves hauling some gear to the summit. I'm looking for two experienced climbers to help out. The climb may also involve some video work... unless I can find a photographer on staff at KATU experienced enough to do it (not likely.) The climb would be on a weekday, dog route, with the goal of being on top by 7am. PM me if you're interested. Or you can email me at bbarker@katu.com. We can swap resumes and see if you're interested.

Dru
Maybe a certain Speed Climber Fido would like to help out and you could provide Third Party Timing in return.

ashw_justin
Yeah... um... I gonna need you to, ah, go to the Mt Hood Summit tomorrow, mmmkay? You know, I'm sure the climbing community could really benefit from this kind of reporting. You would mind just hanging out up there for the next oh 90 days or so, with live reports of climbing conditions and summit weather conditions, would you? 'Cause that would just be great... thanks
