leavenworth webcam at 6:30 this morn showed very wet streets, and forecast did not look good either. Plus the folks I was going to head over there with bailed on me as well because of the forecast... But I am sure the weather was good enough to climb a bit today though...

plus i couldn't have lead any of the pitches on ironclast in style

I was rearing to go when I talked with paco last night, but he was hesitant based on the weather forecast... so he decided not to go. no hard feelings from me. I was up early checking the weather again, and the webcam. At 6:30am, downtown leavenworth looked soaked, so I decided to bail as well and headed back to sleep.

No problem, next time we will plan on some other climb. My mind has been a bit set on that climb for a while. But I can always be convinced to climb whatever (usually).

I am sorry I wasted an hour of Leavenworth morning sunshine waiting for anybody then. But I got quality pitches down in good company anyways.

We climbed a bit, then got poured on. Climbed in the pouring rain. I think my gear is still drying out. We got totally soaked, but had fun.

There was a few periods of sunny happyness, but not much.
