Greg_W Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 What a better way to spend payday than drinking with other climbers on the Eastside. Beware Mattp's strongarm tactics... Anyone have a favorite site? NW Brewhouse worked pretty well last time. Thoughts Ray? Greg W Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 NW Brewhouse sucks butt Let's hear some ideas and I will get some in the next few days. I found new watering holes that are way better. Quote

mattp Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 How about the Bait Shop, in Ballard? That's east of Puget Sound, isn't it? Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 You go there. Hold your breath and we'll be arriving shortly after Quote
Greg_W Posted October 9, 2002 Author Posted October 9, 2002 Dan's ankle bracelet starts beeping constantly if he crosses the I-90 bridge . Quote
TimL Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 What about the Irish/Cajun Pub in Redmond. Forget the name of the place but I've been there once and its OK. Better then the NW Brewhouse. [ 10-09-2002, 10:24 AM: Message edited by: TimL ] Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 It's an idea and I know exaclty the one you are talking about. Lemme find the name oi Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 Celtic Bayou is the name of the place. Quote
Greg_W Posted October 9, 2002 Author Posted October 9, 2002 Cool. Anyone have directions/address? Boy, that was easy. Why do those egotistical, strongarming Seattle-ites have a hard time figuring out where to drink? Quote
mattp Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 So it's agreed: The Bait Shop. 5517 Seaview NW. All the legends of NW climbing will be there. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 Well I am open to other people's ideas. Let's not jump all over it. Maybe there is a better spot. Quote
COL._Von_Spanker Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 The chateau was a joke, redhook is ok. It's funny I was gonna post about the Irish/cajun place but I also cannot remember the name, but they have a great happy hour. Ballard rocks. Is the Bait Shop neat the sloop? Quote

lisa Posted October 10, 2002 Posted October 10, 2002 Yea!! Thanks to those who make the effort and join us! It will be a for sure! Ray, don't tell them Becky's coming, that will be the only reason they show, There is a place in smellevue called the Taproom Bar and Grill. Something like 120 beers on tap, I was there last night, great drinks, but spendy on the grub, a bit stuffy as well if I may add. Sounds like the place in Redmond is the ticket, that wasn't so hard...thanks Greg for taking the lead. Quote
Paul_detrick Posted October 10, 2002 Posted October 10, 2002 O.K if your going to call it eastside you need to go over them hills. How bout E brug the Tav. Quote
