A place you would take your Mother (or in this case my Aunt and two vistors from Europe). Also, any recommendations on a classy place to have a drink downtown that affords great views? It's over in Magnolia, so the view is of downtown Seattle (which will be OK even if crappy weather). If the weather is nice, you get a big Rainier view too. Anthony's is a good "drink with a view" suggestion as long as the weather is good enough to be able to see the Olympics (and it's not nightime ). Pike Place Market dining guide - then click Lowells Another great brunch place for auntie is Chinooks at Fishermans Terminal. But you asked for downtown, so I digress.
