catbirdseat
Don't you mean subliminable? I say real.
wayne
Subliminal... That was me a month ago. I slammed a pole like that and had 9 stiches put in my neck! Ouch.
Stonehead
Uh, yeah. I just looked at how the photo was composed. I'm not much of a photographer but I seem to recall that one composes a picture by mentally superimposing a grid on the view, something like a tic tac toe shape. So anyway, I noticed something. Ratboy
Fake. Composition conveniently includes a skewed field of vision and the guy with the bike is just leaning on the pole. There's no motion there. This is staged.
badvoodoo
Anyone noticed the title on the car ad?
selkirk
I was wondering about that title, very very subliminiminabbble. and high enough shutter speed would freeze the action, no blurring.
Ratboy
I don't necessarily mean by blurring. I fidn it ahrd to believe that anyone flying over the handlebars, as the photo suggests, would have his foot supporting his weight on the ground as it is, and his hand firmly gripping the handlebar as it does. His body position suggests he more interested in balancing the bicycle in that position than protecting himself from harm.
catbirdseat
It is possible he is supporting his weight by using his left hand against the pole, but then what is supporting the bicycle? It's leaning towards the background.
markinore
I object to the misleading title of this thread. I thought it was going to be about breasts.
