It's daaaammmn funny. I dont know if he's a racist or not tho? dude, pleaszz. that show is SO not racist. for some perspective go check out: http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com and especially:... http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/letters.html funny-ass website. someone on CC.com (lummox maybe?) mentioned a while back. thanks again lummox. anyway, it's the same sort of vein as Chappelle's humor.. poking fun at touchy race issues. and that "letters" page has some very interesting reading. I think a LOT of people need to lighten up about race humor... and especially: (1) WHITE LIBERALS who get all squirmy and uncomfortable when white folk make race humor (i.e., blackpeopleloveus.com, or Howard Stern, etc).... and I guess, hmmm, come to think of it, white liberals, if liberal... enough ... just get uncomfortable about a LOT of stuff. (2) WHITE CONSERVATIVES who get pissy and red in the face when someone like Chappelle or Spike Lee poke fun at or otherwise work with touchy race issues, saying "Well now, if a white person did/said/wrote that it would be considered racism goddamit!! Now there'sa double standard if I ever seen one." actually but one of the funniest Chappelle skits I saw didn't even involve race tho.. it involved breasts. there's this one chick who's mid-20s and is fairly pretty and all, BUT has reeaaly small breasts. so she prays to God or whatever for bigger ta-tas and God sends here Chappelle as some kind of educator-angel .... kinda like how George Bailey got visited by the angel Clarence in the movie It's a Wonderful Life. And so it goes into black & white and Angel Chappelle snaps his fingers or something, and POOF!! the girl all of a sudden has HUUUGE knockers. and she sees how it changes her life all of a sudden... she has a hard time running... gets chronic back pain... the nerdy guy who lives next door is all of a sudden always wanting to do her favors all the time ... various problematic things start happening. And just like in It's a Wonderful Life, ... I think in the end of the skit the chicks asks God (or maybe Chappele/Clarence) to make her tits small again... and God obliges. tooo funny. mhann I miss that show sometimes ... need to get cable again.
