fern
Â I will be up there Saturday anyways. I already have a partner but don't mind orphans tagging along if it is actually dry enough to climb - as long as they are not gaper slowpokes . SmokeBluffaneering only. I will ropegun in return for cheese sandwiches.

foraker
sounds like everyone's going to be sitting around the coffeeshop/pub watching the rain come down.... Reminds me of Mt. Cook National Park

foraker
So is it pointless of me to ask if anyone's going and needs someone? I'm beginning to think about asking for my $20 back. I didn't sign up to read trip reports and read Spray.

thelawgoddess
foraker, it's pointless of you to ask if it's pointless. if you really want to go, just go - partner or no. (it is often possible to find partners here if you're really keen to climb ... but you might want to bring your soloing setup and/or bouldering pad just in case.) Â also, the forecast is not pure science and spring is a volatile time of the year. last weekend it rained friday night and then produced three days of beautiful climbing weather. RuMR
totally agree w/ TLG here...pointless to make a decision until literally the afternoon you are leaving... Â Sunday rocked this last weekend in spite of the forecast!!!
Paco
I'm watching the weather, but I'll probably still make the trip up for the long weekend. I feel the need for some Squamish granite crack goodness.
