highclimb Posted February 8, 2001 Posted February 8, 2001 I am disappointed about the lack of snow and ice this winter season. i have only been out climbing twice. the only thing thats getting m through these tough times are the dreams of summer adventures. i was wondering what summer adventure was or is your favorite and if you have any suggestions? Aidan P.S. i know this is kinda early to be thinking about it haha Quote
Alex Posted February 8, 2001 Posted February 8, 2001 I dream of Summer too, but for different reasons. Quote

dan_e Posted February 10, 2001 Posted February 10, 2001 NO WAY! I dream of cold, and ice, and more cold. I can't wait until the next ice age! Quote
rayborbon Posted February 10, 2001 Posted February 10, 2001 ...Dreaming about Climbing in the Bugs and Pickets for sure! Quote
highclimb Posted February 27, 2001 Author Posted February 27, 2001 no one else whats to share......(snif) (snif)..heh Quote
Rodchester Posted February 27, 2001 Posted February 27, 2001 Why dream about summer when there is sooo much to do here and now....summer will be here soon enough. ------------------ Have a nice day. Quote
erik Posted February 27, 2001 Posted February 27, 2001 i could start to type some huge tick list for the summer, as all i have to do this summer is complete it. as i live my climbing dreams now. really the only thing that i dream about summer is beautiful women in their flowery summer dresses and patagonia sports bras. ahhhh!!!!!!!!! these are the elusive projects. the women who can boat class 5, rope gun .12 trad, lead wi6, run twenty miles, roll a fatty and then read Abbey to me the rest of the day! that is a dream. the girth pillar that is reality. Quote
Guest Posted February 28, 2001 Posted February 28, 2001 You're all worthless and weak! Is that a pledge pin? What kind of a climbing fraternity would have 'men' like you? Give me cold toes, bashed knuckles, and women with plenty of body fat, wearing smelly poly-pro. Quote
highclimb Posted February 28, 2001 Author Posted February 28, 2001 Wolf, hahaha. dude if smelly poly pro turns you on ....you need serious help and i feel srry for your climbing partener when you two get back in the warm car after a nice, long, sweaty day of climbing in the north cascades, with a long drive home...... i dont even want to know....hahaha Aidan p.s. anybody here been to the Tetons ever? anyone done the north face of the grand? or BLACK ICE COULOIR! Quote
erik Posted February 28, 2001 Posted February 28, 2001 hey man with a chick like that i can be weak, cause she will kick your arse! by the way does anybody have a little sister that fits the description? i am willing to pay up to four pence and 3 legged pig called george w. the III bush as a dowry to the girls father. Quote
Dru Posted February 28, 2001 Posted February 28, 2001 Dude, the last thing I want to hear about after you're talking about women is the girth of your pillar... Quote
AlpineK Posted February 28, 2001 Posted February 28, 2001 Highclimb, I've been to the Tetons a couple times. I've never done the Black Ice Couloir, but I have climbed the north ridge and north face of the Grand. Both are great routes. You need a strong stomach to climb the guano chimney. Wet birdshit is slick. Quote
highclimb Posted March 1, 2001 Author Posted March 1, 2001 Alpinek, thanks yeah i have heard the guano chimey is full of shit!....guess its true is the approach to the north ridge hard it lloks alfully exposed. Wolf, what does that mean? just wondering? Â Aidan Quote
AlpineK Posted March 1, 2001 Posted March 1, 2001 Highclimb, If you climb the north ridge on the Grand Valhalla canyon approach is technicaly harder but safer. The Grandstand approach is easier but their is lots of rockfall. Quote
highclimb Posted March 1, 2001 Author Posted March 1, 2001 yeah thats what i have heard cool thanks for the first had knowledge Aidan Quote
highclimb Posted March 6, 2001 Author Posted March 6, 2001 Any buddy done BLACK ICE COULOIR!!!!! thanks Aidan Quote
erik Posted March 13, 2001 Posted March 13, 2001 no ray, are you offering? though adamson mentioned something about your sport bra collection. i've never heard of a sports bra that allows for beer gut. Quote
rayborbon Posted March 13, 2001 Posted March 13, 2001 Not a beer gut it's the third breast. BTW some people have numbers 4 and 5 on thier backs too. Quote
