And, how do you think your flip flops feel when they see you choosing Chacos over them? How does it make your feet feel when you switch? Come on, don't be shy, share with the group. Only through openness can the healing begin. Quote
AlpineK Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 I think flip flops are easier to put on or take off. Chaco's are more comfortable if you're going to actually walk somewhere. Quote
erik Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 the reason i choose chacos over flipflops, is becaise of the more suppoert that they offer. if i got to run or do some goofy stuff in town, i like my footwear intact. Â but flip flops are like my laid back bleeze footwear of choice!!!!! Â Quote
Greg_W Posted March 24, 2003 Author Posted March 24, 2003 My Tevas are dying a slow death. I saw these flip flops in Sierra Trading Post that have a strap that goes across your instep to provide a little better fit. Anybody try these? For $18, I'm tempted, but wondering about comfort. Quote
RobBob Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 flip-flops feel good ...'cept in the spring when they chafe betw the toes. Which reminds me of spring surfing, and the nasty nipple scabs that came from cold water, wax, and winter skin... Quote
ChrisT Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 Go for it Greg! Chacos never fit me because I have a wide foot... Quote
erik Posted March 24, 2003 Posted March 24, 2003 greg, another thing about chacos is that they offer width. i dont have overtly big feet, but when i tried on the wide chacos, they just felt sooo right!!! Â plus they have vibram rubber!! Â and rastajon has those flip flops with the extra strap he digs em..... Â Â Quote
Greg_W Posted March 24, 2003 Author Posted March 24, 2003 Hey, there, ChrisT; haven't seen you in a while. What's shakin'? Quote
