philfort Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Cavey: East Ridge of Verboten. no I can see how it looks like Verboten... those hanging talus slopes over on the right... my first guess too. But then, there's that big bergscrhund there too. Is it the peak you did in the Coast Range with Fred? Rusty peak? Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Snowfield Peak, Caveman? no but it is n cascades Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Sharkfin tower? (the ridge photo) yes Quote
philfort Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 The other one... I dunno. It looks like something on the Inspiration ice cap area, but I can't tell what. What's the pointy summit in the background, would that be too big a hint? Quote
Colin Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 MattP, My guess is that your still-unidentified peak is Granite Mountain (not the one on the way up to the pass). Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 I cant give anything away filibuster. Good guess on sharkfin. Must have climbed it or just saw one of my other photos or just got plain lucky since I aint climbed much up there. Quote
pms Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 I'm with Colin, Granite near Tuck n Robbin Lakes. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 another summit. vegetablebelay is off limits since that's him Quote
philfort Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Those high talus benches are pretty characteristic of the Forbidden - Sahale area... so I figured it was something in there, and someone already mentioned forbidden and boston. The other one... the peak in the right background looks like shuksan, the one right center looks like triumph. On the right looks kind of like the southern pickets, but then that couldn't be Triumph way back there. Is it Paul.. Bunyan's Stump or Pinnacle? Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Is it Paul.. Bunyan's Stump or Pinnacle? no pms, you are even game at it too, though it's almost like askin beckey Quote
philfort Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 another summit. vegetablebelay is off limits since that's him Looks like... Maude? Quote
