dberdinka
Just because a dog can do it, doesn't mean this one isn't worthy... I bet Darin has been there. I'm deeply offended!
mattp
Phil- Could that be Masachie?
philfort
Not Mesahchie, or anything on Ragged Ridge... but you are definitely in the right vicinity...

philfort
you said it was probably part of the Mt Stuart batholith, right? Does that mean its part of the Stuart range or really close by? Or is it a trick? I don't know my batholiths, maybe they extend really far... really looks like the chossy stuff immediately north of highway 20. If its near Stuart... Cashmere Mtn maybe? does that have a steep north side?
Cpt.Caveman
a wild guess at matt's is little annapurna. if it aint taht then my next guess is pennant peak.
klenke
I'm going to say South Side of Lil Annapurna for Mattp's.
mattp
Phil- It is in the Stuart area and the rock is (like Stuart) a mixture of good and bad. It is about 1000 feet high. Not Pennant or Little Annapurna. Edited February 1, 2003 by mattp
Cpt.Caveman
dragontail plateau. east dragontail. crystal tower. Final guesses. all three at the same time. I know it's not so far away from these if it aint one of em.

Cpt.Caveman
Fuckers Am I close or not McClellan Peak. really wild guess!
Cpt.Caveman
dragontail (ass for gregw and highlander) peak.
philfort
Maybe the stuart range should be banned from these mystery photos, it all kind of looks the same.. Maybe this is too obscure. Another hint: the ridge in the foreground eventually leads up to Black Peak (to the left).
klenke
Phil's: Fisher
mattp
Ray- It is not in the Snow Creek or Ingalls Creek drainages. It's not Dragontail. Edited February 1, 2003 by mattp

Cpt.Caveman
How about a hint on your seldom visited, often seen peak? One good hint and most anyone with geographical knowledge could possibly get it. So my hint is - the hardest named routes that summit it are 4th class max.
