  1. Hey All! I just moved to corvallis and I am itching to climb as much crack and alpine when the season comes. I just started trad climbing this past summer so I’m not the most confident on lead, but can comfortable lead 5.8 and have led a few 5.9s. I can generally follow up to 11s. Looking forward to exploring what the pacific NW has to offer!
  2. Brand new BD Camalot Ultralight #4 that has been collecting dust in my gear bin after an injury sidelined my climbing. Never placed, never racked. I apparently bought it in 2019 and the mfg tag on the sling says 2017. Always stored in a gear bin in my basement, so not in UV light or near chemicals etc, meaning it still has its whole cracktacular life ahead of it. Comes with a new matching silver Camp Nano racking biner. $100 cash only in Portland, no shipping Also for sale is a barely used women's Mammut Ophir 3 slide women's harness, size M. Comes with a BD Rocklock belay biner, a Climb X ATC knockoff belay device, and a Climb X chalk bag. I got these for my girlfriend years ago to try climbing and they were basically only used to belay me a few times and have gathered dust since. Like new. $50 for all of it.

  5. Recently retired, but my old climbing partners are still working. Looking for partners available for midweek adventures. Lead trad up to 5.9, follow harder. Love to get up to Squamish this week for a couple of days of mellow climbing in the warm weather! Terry
  6. I'm new to the PNW and looking for rock climbing and backcountry skiing partners. I have a rack and some experience with multipitch but rock is not my strong suit. I am a competent backcountry skier and snow / ice climber, but I don't have that gear up here right now. Based in Kirkland and soon to be in Olympia.
  7. Hi all! My name is Zach and I just moved to the area, it's about the worst time of year for the types of climbs I wanna do but I'd like to make plans with somebody to do some winter-accessible stuff including but not limited to some of the tags on this post, and stuff in the spring and summer. Everything from cragging to alpine stuff but preferably the latter. My experience includes: AAI's AMTL1 class (South Early Winter Spire, Baker, Silver Star), trad following and leading at Devil's Lake in Wisconsin, easy glaciated peaks in Peru, ice climbing in Michigan, and several years of sport climbing. I have most of my own gear including a standard rack, but lack the correct ropes and snow/ice protection. I've been out of the game for a bit because of two hip surgeries earlier this year so I'll need to brush up on some stuff before hitting it too hard, but I'd definitely like to get active asap if anybody is interested. Shoot me a text at 616-443-8851, thanks!
  8. I've been climbing for 15 years, I lead climb Trad / Sport 5.8 - 5.11 mostly. Looking for someone to climb with in Western Washington, my climbing partner moved and I need to get on the rock. I live in Anacortes near Mt. Erie, I can meet up anywhere from Bellingham to the Cascades down to Hwy 2 and to Eastern, WA on the weekends. broberts.spatialagent@gmail.com
  9. Hey! I am flying into Spokane on Tuesday 7/17. I am going to be around for a week in Spokane. It would be nice to check out some the local crags if anyone needs a partner for sport or trad. I have draws, a double rack, and a rope. I am going be driving to Squamish around 7/23 for three weeks if anyone needs a ride. My general plan is just to drive up to Squamish but would be more than happy to hit up some of the wonderful climbing areas in Washington. Index, Leavenworth, Washington Pass, or Mazama for some fun mulit-pitch or cragging if anyone is looking for a partner. Also would be open to bouldering at any of these fabulous areas. I am pretty flexible with my goals for this trip. Need a belay on your project? Want to do a route that requires a lot of hiking that your friends cringe at the thought of doing? Want to hit up some lesser known crags? Developing/cleaning new routes and need some help with the grunt work? I can lead 5.8/5.9 on granite cracks and mid-5.10 on quartzite gear face routes. -5.11 on bolts. Thanks! Tyler
  10. 1 - NEW W/tags Women's Scarpa Crux approach shoes - size 39.5 SOLD Never worn outside. $55 -- this is the best price you'll find for this shoe new! Local (Seattle) pickup or buyer pays shipping. 2 - Women's Scarpa Techno X rock shoes - size 39.5 Lace-up rock shoes, great for trad routes! An OutdoorGearLab TOP PICK! I wore these on a few multipitches in 2016, loved them except..they are just too damned tight for me and after a pitch or two, my feet would be in too much pain. Soles are in great shape, lots and lots of life in these!! $50 you pick up. Message or call/text me at 360-224-7783 Thanks for looking! Alisse
  11. I'm looking to do some day or half day weekend cragging or alpine routes within range of Kirkland. I've been climbing for 10+ years but with kids, I haven't got out much in the last few years. I'm good to lead up to 5.10a and have a rack and all the stuff. I also have a somewhat flexible work schedule so I could do weekday dawn patrols at Index or 32/38.
  12. I'm in Coupeville until July 7, am new to rock climbing and looking for a partner. I'm an excellent belayer, understand top rope systems, sport routes, and cleaning trad routes. I have a harness, shoes, helmet, a few lockers & non-lockers, ATC, but no rope or slings, etc. I have a flexible schedule.
