Gatherings of this group (called Pub Clubs) used to happen weekly. There was always someone/someplace to go drinking. But it seems like about a year or so ago we just sorta stopped doing that. And we used to do the annual Rope-Up at Leavenworth. But last year was the first year that we didn't have one. And the Portlandians used to do Smiff Tuft Luv right around the same time as RU. But there wasn't a STL last year either. I don't know what's happened to us... I do see in the Events and the *freshiezone* forums that we're still doing the annual Ski-In up at WA Pass. It's this weekend, so you better get to driving...

Mark, Congrats on getting accepted at two fine schools! Like others have said, you'll have the Gunks, the 'Daks, NH ice climbing is rad, and as ivan said, Mt. Washington in winter ain't the foodcourt. From experience, this I know... Being a CE meseff, I'd be keen to know who your FIL is, Dan. Please elaborate. My kids at the Nature Conservancy's Foulweather Bluff Preserve, North Kitsap Peninsula, a couple of weeks ago. May 1st was the finest day I've seen in the Seattle/Bainbridge Island area in years.
