greg my point on stats is that you can cite them and not be attacked, but if someone else posts stats you do not agree with they are utter bullshit, but you offer noting to refute them other then emotion and insults??? hmmmmm......

(and dont say cuz jb did). because it is all a matter of perception and not truth. so they are a null point, expecially without actual cited material. tho i have a hard time believing 2 million crimes were averted due to gun ownership. how does that factor? and do they include screwed up drug deals with guns involved? pete lives over in s capital hill, we have walked the street a bunch at night...so far, i have been offered several blow jobs and some crack. i declined the crack. there is no right, but how can you claim that owning an high capacity handgun will save you better then owning a revolver? if the legal gun owner was responsible it would only take one bullet. so maybe a black power gun would be in order?

liberals take our rights away in smaller doses. Seat belt law. helmet Law and the such... they are the 'Great Mommy State' and tell us it is for our own good. It is not the same... but over time as the # of laws add up... the effect is the same. There should realy only be three laws ummm not quite equivilant now is it? personally being in the insurance industry am i glad there are seat belt laws, helmet laws. my favorite part is denying claims to people who have been killed in auto accidents, silly things like wearing their seat belt or speeding would have saved them. but then again what does the 'mommy state' know? or when you see a 19 yr old girl now retarded from head injuries....oops no seat belt. you think making you wear your seat belt takes away from your life? hardly. i think the fed govenment being able to tap my phone, read my bank statments, read my email all seem a bit more over the top then not wearing my seat belt.

greg, non of those instances you describe include home invasion. all are drug and alcohol related. i dont think any firearms were required at wto. and you cite jb's stats to be trumped up and bullshit. which ones are the right ones? i would like to know. also while you are busy researching feel free to help me out by letting me know how the libs are removing my rights in an equivilant manner to patriot act 1 and 2. thanks!

greg, the only people i see actively trying to remover personal freedoms is asscroft and the rest of bushy co. so it makes me wonder, give up my high capacity hand gun? or allow the fed/state government to enter my life when they deem so, and not when i have done anything wrong. so far i have really enjoyed the new security at the airport. about had to remove my pants as they had metal buttons on them. luckily with enough grooping of my package mr security agent got what he needed! so i do not see how you can claim the libs to be so activly erroding the constitutional rights, when the conservs are pushing so hard for it??

the diffrence greg is that the fNF deal has a direct impact on my life, whereas the gun owners rights does not. yes i am a gun owner, i do not brandish that flag or use it as a rally call. i attempt to keep the fact quite(oops on the internet now!!!). the gun was a gift, i did not ask for it nor will i get rid of it, as i understand my rights to own one. i do not see my life being any less if i am not allowed to own high capacity fire arm. i do see my life being less if i am continued to pay and pay and pay touse land in which belongs to all of us.
