  1. Yeah, but $50 or so for shipping. Still cheaper, still better, but that's alot of $ for binders.
  2. That'd be a sweet setup no doubt - it's what I want to add to my Crossbows. It's also a bloody fortune. $380 for ski bindings! No F'in way when you can get Diamirs for half that.
  3. Are they hiring?
  4. Ask Lou about all your Dynafit Questions Dynafits rock for all but hardcore regular in area skiing.
  5. I was skiing this: Silverton's rad, but their inspiration, NZ's club fields, are better than they could ever be. IMHO.
  6. PM, PM, PMSent!
  7. The question is whether this innovation has resulted in a greater level of health, not higher profits for the providers. Statistically the results aren't that obvious.
  8. GregQ- Those statistics show the total amount of money spent on health care in the economy as a whole. That includes government & private sector expenses. Whether it's paid by the state or private sector medical expenses are a drag on growth. As for stepped reimbursement - that's better than medicare, medicare is a flat rate based on the county classification.
  9. I was thinking his lawyers had found a way to extract more money from him. Obviously the Oregon Courts weren't enough.
  10. Regular heavy drinking and/or use of illegal substances can help with RBW's suggested mental state.

FINALLY!!! Sheeit, get the fuck out of here, already. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Thanks Hayzeus Christos! I'm agreeing with Greg!
  12. BUT it's supposed to be a shiny light blue color, which of course makes it worth the extra weight . That means it's a boys boot
  13. Have you gone all new age on us?
  14. It's crap Greg. As an example - my former state of Virginia elected James Gilmore on the pledge to eliminate the car tax (the car tax was a lump sum tax of several % of your cars value due in October) needless to say his campaign pledge resonated. Of course most people were too stupid to wonder how he was going to increase school funding while doing away with one of the primary sources of school funding, which the car tax was. What's happened? The Repub controlled legislature has frozen the cartax repeal. The only difference between the current R party and the D party is one is willing to give you the moon but claims you don't have to pay for it
  15. That would make it exactly like the Garmont Tower.
  16. Lambone- Most tragedies start off with a bad decision following by some bad luck, and some "shit happening". They all have numerous chances for a good decision to be bad/different actions to have been taken that would have averted the tragedy.
  17. Awesome Pics! What took you to Mongolia?
  18. Given the winter temperature inversion that area gets it wouldn't surprise me.
  19. Don't forget Oregon We love Washington $$$$$$!
  20. So you want to reduce consumption at the consumer level. The bedrock of our economy that's kept us motoring through the past 3 years? Bright idea!
  21. The Sirius is $300 retail, you could pick it up for $160, that's 47% off retail, not the measly 40% off retail of your Spectre
  22. Arc'teryx is expensive, but Patagucci isn't? I have the predecessor to the Spectre (the Lightning) & the Sirius. The Sirius breathes better, but the Lightning has a better cut for climbing. Sirius is exactly the wrong length to wear with a harness. Both Patagonia and Arc'teryx are a fortune at retail. Add the Gore surchage on top and make that a bloody fortune.
  23. They've had skate roller skis for over a decade. I find roller skis both a better workout and a better simulation of XC skiing than roller blades, but I agree they suck going down hill.
  24. Rollerblades simulate skate skiing more than skate boots on roller skis You aren't at all limited to classic on roller skis - unless you buy classic only roller skis. You can also buy skate roller skis or combo roller skis. Rollerblades are a cheaper solution (only if you have them), but not better - Rollerblades are higher & stiffer, and unless you shell out big $ don't have the glide of roller skis.
  25. They probably have worn out/gunked up bearings in the wheels. Like my rollerskis currently do. To really fix this you have to replace the wheels (about $120ish). I might be willing to sell mine (mounted with NNN something) - how much $?
