If you start up the TJ Trail from the lower parking area, you first get to the junction with the cutoff that comes in from the ski area. If you look here, there is actually a third trail that heads up and left through the woods. That's the Polallie Ridge trail. You can also pick it up at the top of the ski area. It isn't difficult to find. Go check it out. Its a better approach option.

Got reports from last night of very strange and bad climbing conditions on the south side.

What's the Access Fund doing for climbing here in Oregon? Not being accusatory - just wondering.

Just for information, a lot of folks have been putting in time getting the Polallie Ridge trail in shape. Its often a far better approach to the A-Frame then the TJ trail. Check it out if you have time.
