Nevermind Peter. No time to take pics of every crag I see, then scan them ( I dont own a scanner ) then post them here these days. Maybe someone else will find it worthwhile some day. If not I will get to it eventually.

Peter Puget if you have time I can show you an undeveloped crag I dont have time for. It's kinda in that Lworth area... You'll certainly find new steep crack systems there and no lines. Just have to walk for an hour...

Thanks Norman, I am looking for a topo of the routes in there and such. A friend is compiling new guidebook information. Someone already sent him the info\topo. The above information should explain the rest. Dont need maps or anything of that sort. Dont need the old topos need the one submitted to Beckey but misplaced by him

Peter Puget (or should I post your real name?), Dont even go to Leavenworth for good cracks. Fossil Rock has the best one around. It's 5.12+ and is called the Hardest Crack in the state. I am not sure why it is rated so hard. Maybe it is harder to stay in the thing because of the intense pain you get.Check it out mega classic roof crack!

Hahha I off loaded almost all of my camalots last fall too. Rack is lighter now! Erik I dont know why you thik their stuff is so great. Perhaps their marketing folks brainwashed you from reading too many mags? They sell you all those neutrinos because you bought their heavy ass camalots Heavier double axle means carry less cams + means run it out more. I still dont know why they stopped making the fins and slung heaxes. Dont even get me started on their other gear. To me it seems as if they are doing what othe companies have been doing for years. Finally they marketed their lightweight alpine axe after so long... Waiting for their aluminum crampons..

You should check out Pearly gates if you have not been there. Good cracks and routes.

I picked up a couple of KBs saturday. I got the Camp ones. A couple of dollars cheaper than BD too. Also heard they are both made by the same company and are the same pitons. Another reason BD sux butt sometimes. [ 03-19-2002: Message edited by: rayborbon ]
