I would be down for monday. If anyone wants to go. Only if conditions are good. Was down there on monday and it was beautiful bluebird skys. Would have been a sucessful summit but the getting down there was an epic with a flat tire and misc other issues. As it was made it to 10k and bailed. Brandon P.s Major Major how is your leg doing from december on hood?

Your a fuckin retard... I understand that it is a ski area, but the area also see's about 10%-15% climbers. It was 1 in the morning when i found them and the parking lot was empty. So considering the lodge was closed and i was not about to wait till they opened just on the off chance that someone was going to come back to hood after they got home from skiing just for there 70 dollar poles. I took them and figured it for a gift for all the shit i have left behind. Please unless they are yours don't respond.

Found a set of brand new ski poles in the parking lot at the timberline lodge in Oregon. Gonna be a long shot but if they were left by a climber, you identify them and they will be returned to there owner. If not, my wife gets a nice set for snowshoeing!!

[TR] Alpental - Not Sure. Somewhere near Kiddie Cliff 1/23/2010
brandonmc replied to Ed_Hobbick's topic in Alpine Lakes
Had an awesome time. Was not supposed to snow like it did. 6-10 inches total all day. Our original plan was Chair peak. But we bailed at the basin due to the conditions. But we had a good time, and i look forward to future ice climbing. I actually pulled a twofer and went snowshoeing with my wife and a friend of hers on sunday! We went up the Pacific Crest trail {North} and went approximately 3 miles in. We started at the Stevens Pass summit. All in all a good weekend out doors. I am hurting and looking forward to getting some good sleep tonight! -
what i do know is that my front point jacket is too warm. Worked out nice when i was not climbing and was stopped for a break. But even unzipped at 0 degrees on rainier last year it was too warm to wear while climbing. Definitely made for really cold weather climbing. Just my 2 cents. Ps if feathered friends wont let you borrow one you can borrow mine. Give me a call Dane 206-940-1652 Brandon

Not ignoring this, just been really busy lately. Found out 2 weeks ago that my wife has cancer and we are trying to deal with a ton of Dr. appointments. And surgical dates. Sorry for the inconvenience.\ Brandon
