That was a nice article and pictures. I might send the link to friends and family back on Krypton as a nice snapshot of how cozy things are around here.

Well it does suggest she probably acted alone, and not with the aid of other Republicans.

Yeah, Judith Miller has been reduced to getting a job with FoxNews. Oh the humanity.

Police: McCain volunteer changes ATM attack story © 2008 The Associated Press — Pittsburgh police say a McCain campaign volunteer who reported being held down by a black man who then cut the letter "B" in her face has changed her story. Police also say bank surveillance footage doesn't show her at an ATM where she initially said she was attacked. Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators gave the 20-year-old woman a lie-detector test and are "looking at some inconsistencies" in her story. The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint near a bank Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car. Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember being cut in the face. She now says she only discovered the wound later. No arrests have been made.

Blue Nun I'm not a big sweet wine fan. That said I have on occasion enjoyed a sweet German or Italian wine, but only in Germany or Italy as they tend to keep the best stuff close to home and export the crappy junk. If you can find it, look for Müller-Thurgau (name of the grape), mostly in small, flat bottles. It's drunken more as a desert wine.

I just wanted to post in this important thread.

2008 data showing stronger Republican support for Isreal:
-
You mean Republicans? I think you've got yourself another Jewish conspiracy.

Hmmm, let's run down a short list: U.S. Senate Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) Ben Cardin (D-Md.) Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) Russell Feingold (D-Wis.) Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) Carl Levin (D-Mich.) Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) House of Representatives Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.) Shelley Berkley (D-Nev.) Howard Berman (D-Calif.) Eric Cantor (R-Va.) Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) Susan Davis (D-Calif.) Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) Bob Filner (D-Calif.) Barney Frank (D-Mass.) Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) Jane Harman (D-Calif.) Paul Hodes (D-N.H.) Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) Steve Kagen (D-Wis.) Ron Klein (D-Fla.) Tom Lantos (D-Calif.) Sander Levin (D-Mich.) Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.) Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) Steve Rothman (D-N.J.) Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa.) Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) Robert Wexler (D-Fla.) John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) Taken from This article; I take no credit for the extent of its veracity. Bolded names are by me, and signify those in Congress with significant authority/notoriety/sway. I've been doing some math. My assertion that Jews are excluded from politics has been shot down, but I think an arguement can be made based on some numbers that the Jews in Congress do not explain US support for Isreal. Ok 44 Jewish congresspeople out of 535 = 8.2 % Jews in Congress According to wikipedia 2.1 % of the US population is Jewish (source) so Jews are over-represented numerically in Congress. Now, of the 44, only 3 are Republicans. 2 are independants and the the remaining 39 are Democrats. If Jews in Congress explained US support for Isreal we would expect the Democratic Party to be the bigger supporter of Isreal. But look at this: [font:Fixedsys] Gallup Poll: Sympathies With The Israelis or The Palestinians Results By Party Affiliation and Ideology 2002-2006 Aggregate ..............................Israelis..Palestinians..Both/Neither/Don’t Know Conservative Republicans.........78%........7%......14% Moderate/Liberal Republicans.....62%.......16%......21% Liberal Democrats................43%.......23%......33% Moderate Democrats...............50%.......17%......32% Conservative Democrats...........46%.......23%......30% [/font] (source) Same data, better graph: Which seems to suggest stronger Republican support for Isreal, in contrast to more Jews being Democrats. Not a perfect piece of statistics, so make of it what you will.

I was totally going to make this exact post. lol. I guess not having an accountant is "The American Dream".

I'd deny that it's an enormous amount of power. Jews are still greatly excluded from the politics, boardrooms, and country clubs that run this country. They have clout in some areas like Hollywood and academics that they try to use as a voice, but I think you're greatly exaggerating Jewish influence in America. I don't find most Jews to be particularly Zionist. I think Zionists are a minority among Jews, but that might just be my experience. I've never really liked Jesse Jackson.

Actually I think it was just hyperbole. Another thing kids these days don't appreciate is how hard it is to make sense out of the cryptic postings of people over the age of 30 who feel the need to identify with cannibalistic psychopaths.
-
You're talking out your ass in smelly absolutes due to a lack of reading beyond the headlines. The recommendation is for supplements because, as the recommendation mentions, most children aren't getting enough D in their diets. back atchya bitch
-
Anyone notice the news that the American Academy of Pediatrics has doubled its recommendation for a daily dose of vitamin D for children? I'm thinking it's because kids never go outside these days so they don't get any sunshine and now they need more from their diets.
