I heard that recently as well. When did saying "the Orient" or Oriental become Politically incorrect? ps, sweet find. It always shocks me to see 40 story high Bamboo scaffolding on a Hi-rise tower being utilized in the Orient Asia. Probably make a nice ice axe handle or kitchen floor I'll bet:-) Only inanimate objects should be called oriental. A person should be called Asian. Learned that the hard way!

Happy "day when Britain became bored with you country and decided to give it back because there was nothing better to do on a tuesday day!"

I suppose I am the only one here that believes that the 2nd amendment is the final checks and balances against tyranny.

I'm sorry that you gentlemen don't have the balls or the sense of duty to do what needs to be done if such a crime were ever to happen. Thank God there are enough out there that are willing to die for their country and defend it and it's constitution "from enemies both foreign and domestic." WTF are you talking about? I'm a patriot. I just don't think it's OK to say "I'll be the first to put a bullet in his head" when referring to a president who is violating the constitution. That's why we are a nation of laws. If the president violates his oath, we already have ways of dealing with that, and none of them involve you getting to put a bullet in his head because you feel like it. You don't get to hide behind your oath on that one. I don't care how many bullets you have in you. Your statements were wrong & misguided. I have to agree with Rob on this one. No matter who is in power, we have a group shrilly accusing them of "shredding the constitution and trampling our rights". It's not a big step from this kind of thinking coupled with the "last resort" option proposed by Scott that leads to anarchy. So, if you had exhausted all legal avenues, you would just give up? Wow.
-
So what would you do? Nothing? I find that depressing; and likely the reason that our country is falling into shambles. It matters not what century it is. Right is right and wrong is wrong. The code of conduct in this country is...well was very simple. My right to swing my fist ended at your face. Now, the right for me to make coffee ends at your ineptitude to not spill in in your crotch. If you speak for the masses with your apathetic attitude and would relinquish our country to tyranny it is indeed a lost cause; this experiment.

Obviously, this is assuming that any and all legal avenues have been exhausted. As stated before, this is a theoretical excercise. This is the final checks and balances and it resides within every citizen. If it weren't for this innate human nature to be free, we would have silly accents and wear tweed all the time; and our teeth would look like a scree field.

Werd on the street says Columbia's president is trying to push for a 3rd term. We'll see what happens as per public/ international support on this one.

Right on man. Congratulations. In a few months, I will buy you a celebration beer.

Can you translate that into English for me? Active Duty

Well if there's ever a coup here, where he is depends on who it's against. If it's an R administration you can bet he'll be on the friendly end of the water cannon. If its Obama, I guess we'll see whether his solemn oath is really to the Commander in Chief or to America's anchorman. Either way, he finally gets to kill somebody. Don't call him 'Francis'! You have obviously never taken the oath, as you have no fucking clue as to what it is about. Name's Scott That's cause I was CIA, numbnuts- I don't exist, man. We used to eat Special Forces for lunch! I went by "Agent Orange". Maybe we met before. Maybe not. I'm a motherfucking apparition. I have seen you 3-letter chumps run like girls. Is that part of your training? It seems pretty standard...

Were you overseas? At home in the National Guard? Something about getting shot? (I have no idea who you are or what your backstory is; maybe this is already common knowledge for everyone else.) Notta nasty girl homes. Took a couple in the leg. Check prole's post for my back story.

You sure about that? I seem to recall the last eight years pretty well. In my humble opinion, Mr. Bush and his team of elitists have shredded the constitution, like Gitmo for example. Mr. Bush has set aside human rights for profiteering. Yet where are these “plenty of people that are not wiling to let the constitution be cast aside”? Are you one of them? #1) I think it is a little hazy when you talk about foreigners' rights being violated as per our constitution #2) I was busy doing the whole protection from the "foreign threats thing." Couldn't really keep up too much on the goings on back here. I thought you would have covered it. #3) Bush wasn't even impeached. Remember that whole, "diplomacy first, ass kicking second" thing? Kinda important.

STFU, you are a government employee, with full medical benefits and you don't friggin pay a penny for it. So when you are on your own, live in a REAL world, paying REAL bills then you'll earn right to speak punk ass. Hey bud! Missed you! I owned my own business and took care of my own insurance before jumping on the free medical bandwagon. If you are struggling so badly to pay your health care, why don't you just man up and join the Air Force or something? They have it pretty nice over there! Or do you just want to bitch? Does the Air Force need masseurs? - if, so I'm sure ggk would be happy to apply. Not that kind. Obama hasn't repealed the don't ask don't tell policy yet. I am sure he's waiting with baited breath.
-
Oh, and my Polsky brother, thanks for paying for both of my surgeries I had last year. I am sure they would have cost a bundle! I saved one of the bullets for you as a thank you for partially covering my hospital expenses. Yer tha best pal!

if you didn't make statements like the following, i'd believe you: remember, you did say you knew nothing about the legality of the forced removal; you might investigate this first. tell me how our forefathers codified processes for the removal of a president who overstepped his or her boundaries; i believe it had something to do with "impeachment", yes? 1) The right to overthrow tyrannical dictators does not require a constitution. 2) Our forefathers outlined their methods for dealing with tyranny by kicking brittish ass. Impeachment? Seems to me Honduras tried that. We tried legal matters with england too. Should we have left it with that and just called it quits? You don't need a piece of paper to tell you that if you are being abused, you have the moral right to rise up and kick some ass. Who gets to decide who a "tyrannical dictator" is? Does that mean that if you decide Obama is a "tyrannical dictator" you have the right to kill him? You sure seem to take a light stance on violence and "putting a bullet in peoples heads." Kinda scarey. Your postings in this thread sound like the sort of thing they're gonna dredge up after you bomb an abortion clinic. Yr fucking crazy. 1) Do I take bullets lightly? No. I have had 2 in me. 2) If ANY president defies the constitution, he will meet the consequences. Not necessarily my me, but there are plenty of people that are not willing to let the constitution cast aside like it is outdated; on the contrary, it is more applicable now than ever. 3) I don't believe (personally) in abortion, but dont really have any reason to decide what others do. Ditto with gay marriage. Ain't my cup of tea, but if someone else wants to, go right ahead. 4) I don't think that Obama would try and fuck up the constitution. He is not that dumb. It is more of a theoretical excercise in values.

If that statement was a color, it would be khaki
