Though you would think ltown locals would be spawning mutant crushers, the only kids i've met in town who climb, didn't really start til they were 17 or older. A bit odd. supremely odd.... but when I was there i met Kyle O' Meara and his friend Joel... they were not very old and totally crushing, joel sent the Ram. Which felt pretty hard to me for sure.....

If im ever going to Leavenworth or Index I will let you know... likely in the spring at the earliest. My girlfriend and I want to climb Outer Space, wich sounds like it could be up your alley

I bought a full Rock Empire set of cams for like 400 bucks a couple years ago.. 8 cams total i think. Not as good as BD but i still plug them in on hard routes and fall on them....

Yeah, and it really does help a lot... I remember thinking I wasnt going to be able to climb for a while because of some lost gear after an epic, but Off-White, after reading my post sent my two ridgid stem cams that helped a lot. I have used the cams to climb stuff like the 'Grand Wall' and work some projects near my place... I even fell on one on 'Zombie Roof' this summer.... so yeah, this kind of thing really is appreciated by us young climbers who don't have the rich 'sport' parents paying for courses, gear and driving them around to their next climb

I worked for almost all my stuff.... my parents were not/are not rich....

Yeah, its not too much of an issue, even if you're shorter. I know some people clip from below the lip but that is really weird, I just went straight for the jug on the lip. I fell the first time cuz I hit the wrong part and the fall is totally safe, then once you stick the lip the clip is right by your face to clip...... and if he sent 'churning' he is totally strong enough to hit the lip no problem oh ya, and the throw could be bypassed, especially with small fingers, I checked i out. There was no point for me cuz I can just bump to the jug no problem with my +4 ape index basically I think one could hit the jug on the lip left handed, then heel-hook right and reach the right hand up to the thumb catch on the arete, then heel-hook left foot on the jug and bring the left hand up to a nubbin on the face. Then one could rock up on the left heel and cross the left hand up to the big jug on the arete.... all done

We did this on a much smaller scale from an overpass near my place in Agassiz.. the cops came and shut it down

i think it was this guy... haha.. he asked me how hard Chain Reaction was and I said '5.9' as a joke, and he was like 'oh, well I can climb 5.10'.. it was pretty cute, at least I think it was him...

really? was that you guys right around Chain reaction? If it was your kids they stepped on our ropes as they were running into the cave to the left to get out of a gust of wind.... Tamara shoo'd them off what project did your guy tick? Heinous Cling? Middle Age Vandals?

things were frozen when we woke up... like ice. I don't know how cold that is in americn temperature though
