  7. That climb on the cover of this months R&I looked hard enough for me!
  8. First of all what do you guys think is the best ski descent on Baker? Do you need a rope early May or are most of the crevasses snowed up? Thanks
  9. Sick! I've been wanting to get on this route for a long time..

  15. So generally if you have shitty icy skiing conditions at Alpental, does that mean these climbs will be hard packed as well? Bump on my question...

  17. Road goes on forever by Robert Earl Keen...not what I was expecting lol...

  19. North Gulley looks pretty good...like goatboy said though this snowpack isn't great. Anyone driven by lately? http://www.summitpost.org/route/223684/north-gulley.html
  20. I've looked into that a little but I hear it can be pretty underestimated...haha maybe something a little less committing in Snoqualmie or the Enchantments or Stuart area first.
  21. Hey guys, One thing that I've never really been comfortable with is steep snow/neve/snice...I was scared out of my mind down climbing Hood a couple years ago and although I've gotten a little more comfortable since then I haven't really done enough to be where I'd like to be. I know the technique and everything I just don't think I've done it enough to get it down mentally. Anyway, what are some good routes around here like steep couloir climbs you can do this time of year w/o a rope? Maybe something I could use my tools on? Or maybe some stuff that would make good simulclimbs for practice? Thanks Braydon
  22. Climbers our age are hard to come by. I've been off cause for a while cause of football season and stuff but that's over for now. I'm a sophomore at Issy and getting my car soon so if anyone wants to get out hit me up! RokIzGud I know your in Bothell so that could work out (even though I'm pissed yall knocked us out of the playoffs haha). Are the rest of you guys Eastside or what? EDIT: Like I said I'm just getting back into this so I'd like to climb with some guys around my experience level. I'm leading around 5.9 rock, know glacier/snow stuff (baker, hood, rainier easy routes), and have done a little alpine ice like Bakers north ridge. No water ice but hopefully soon.
  23. Alrighty I'm always looking for some new ones so lets hear them! Old, new, rock, rap, whatever you like to jam to...
