Why hasn't someone created an at-home solution for small toe edge blow outs? I don't understand why an entire sole needs to be done over when its almost always a dime or penny size hole in the toe.

Lots of back country experience and cragging experience...just never mixed the two. Have done a few multi pitch gear routes but have always had bolts for belay. Hardest pitch I've done is Lions Jaw at Smith (9?). I think like anyone else I just wanna get up something with a rope on. Thanks a bunch

Apologies for waste of space, but could anyone direct me to that golden image that was on here a while back of what appears to be a mountaineer group all clad in plaid and spotting a dude on a two foot slab.
