Where's the one of Sobo climbing naked?? (Ok, so he was wearing socks, but those don't count.) -
I swear that dude is a lip-syncher.

Huh? -
Probably means somebody tried to lift a box that was too heavy, got hurt, and then sued the company because no one warned them that it could be too heavy to lift. Just a guess.
-
I pulled up behind a pickup truck leaving Home Depot yesterday, and in the bed of the truck was a large cardboard box printed with the following: "WARNING: IF YOU CANNOT LIFT THIS BOX, IT IS TOO HEAVY." Are we really so stupid now that we need to be told that a box we cannot lift is too heavy??? Has it come this?

Ice cream vendors are held to a higher standard. And duly so. -
[TR] Smith Rock - Guided Family Climb @ North Point 8/7/2007

Hiring a guide:$$$ Renting helmets, shoes, harnesses:$$ Hiding bag of candy in pack for "emergency":$ Celebrating with ice cream afterward: $ Sharing a something you love with someone you love: PRICELESS Well done!!! Way to get the whole family involved and excited about something new. Sounds like it was a worthwhile experience on all counts. -
Keep in mind, Rmncwrtr, that around here "good quality" =women climbing in sports bras. there is no sense in getting the camera out if you aren't going to show skin unless of course it is ass cold... ...then you take your pictures indoors.

Hey Moses! I remember reading your TR a while back. Exodus was classic: your FA of Mt Sinai, the plagues, being lost in the desert for 40 years... Nice write up.

A little cocoa powder or dark chocolate gives chili a deep, rich dimension of flavor(kind of like mole' sauce). A dash of cinnamon also gives it a hint of something special. But I can see where beer would do that, too.

The torte is a dense cake usually made with little or no flour. The torta can be a sandwich if we're talking about Mexican food, but in Italian and Spanish cuisines it's a more general term for a cake or tart. It's all good.
-
Ew. That does sound gross. But I was referring to the dessert torta(just chocolate, no beans.) A little chocolate IS nice to add to homemade chili though.

So true! We used to sing AG to the tune of "House of the Rising Sun" and to "Peaceful, Easy Feeling." Forgot all about that church camp stuff. Speaking of which, OMG it's all coming back to me now , there was a song we did called "The Weinie Song." "I love the weinie man He owns a weinie stand He sells most anything From hot dogs, on down. Someday I'll join his life I'll be his weinie wife. HOT DOG! I love the weinie man." Now that was some classic stuff, right there. Thanks for the good times, Jesus.

Riiiiiight.

I think the weaker-willed were lured away by the "Weight Gain Contest" thread. They've got torta's and guacamole over there.... You guys are the SURVIVORS!

Also helps to take the booth on the far left(at the Truck Crossing). Both times I've gone thru that one, the officer didn't even look at my ID(and I'm driving an old Westy van with foil covering all the windows on his side of the vehicle ). The Seattle folks I was meeting in Squamish said they went in that lane and got the same apathetic wave-thru from the same guy. Weird.

Were you there yesterday? I saw some folks over on Breakfast of Champions. Looked like fun. We were on Great Northern Slab and Aires. That chimney still kills me. Rather quiet day out there, it seemed. Only crossed paths with one other party at the top--they were coming up Pisces. Was it mid-afternoon? If so yep, that was probably Sprocket and I I didn't see anyone else running up it. If you were in a group of 4 (3 guys one girl?), then I think we came up the start of Aires (short slightly awkward crack to the first ledge) right behind you then headed right to Taurus Oh, and we were there on Saturday. We were only there Sunday, late morning to late-afternoon. Just two of us.

Oh, Elvis is cool, Sherri. Barry, too. Whenever I'm in a funk, I like to listen to this song of his: Spirit move me every time I'm near you Whirling like a cyclone in my mind Sweet Melissa, angel of my lifetime Answer to all answers I can find Of course when Take That did their cover of Could it be Magic, they left out the very best line Ok. We can do a road trip together.

Yanni. Long hair AND a mustache. What's not to like?

"Why are there so many, Songs about rainbows. What's on the other side? Rainbows are visions. Only illusions. Rainbows got nothing to hide. Someday we'll find it, The rainbow connection. The lovers, The dreamers, And me." sickie
