I guess we can just wait and see. In the end, even if he still tests negative I am sure there will be many people out there with doubts in their minds. I won't be one of them. Go Lance!
-
no positive drug tests, that is a big fact right there. Where are your facts?
-
Isn't it amazing that all of the real facts shows that Lance is in the right, and all the naysayers just put him down because he is so good but have no facts to back it up.

The same Lance who slammed his former team, because they asked him to take a physical before they'd pay his salary. The same Lance who preaches loyalty, but dumped his wife for Sheryl Crow after 3 children. It goes on. The guys no saint, as much as the US press loves to treat him like one. At the same time, Lance gave all of his tour de france winnings to his team for doing so well. He did not dump his wife, they got a divorce and who really knows the reasons why (how many people in this country get divorced, isn't the rate over 50% nowadays, and many of them have children too). I agree that no one is a saint, but Lance stands above most.

Interesting argument, but how many people are climbing 5.14s today. A whole heck of a lot more than there was 10 years ago. The playing field is not so level, it just keeps getting higher and higher. 10 years ago, climbing 5.14 was news worthy. Today you have to be 8 years old to make news climbing a 5.14. How many of these people who climb 5.14 are climbing that due to natural talent. If we use your argument, not many of them. So, for Sharma and Graham and a few others to be climbing 5.15, they must be doping right? They do this to stay ahead of the pack, stay in the news to get their sponsership. I don't think so. However, I might just be hoping that there are true sportsman out there. What I have read and seen about Armstrong and cycling, is that he has more sportsmanship than anybody in the standard three pro sports here in the US (basketball, baseball, and football).

Letter to P-I blames climbers for rescue costs

what a moron... -
I feel hooked... doh!

I think this is all bs, why can there not be a good cycler out there that can just kick the butt out of everybody else. Are we going to say that Sharma, Potter, Viesturs, Graham, and the other climbers that climb better than the rest of us are on something as well. Lance is the man, I am sure his diet and vitamin regimen is very regulated, but I doubt there are any 'roids in there. #7 is going to happen!

Airplanes are lighter than air of course.

That is correct, BD only batch tests their stuff. long gone are the days of looking at each and every piece before it went out the door. The tensile rating of each piece is a combination of things. The malleability of the actual stopper is one. The yield strength and size of the wire, and any stress concentrations acting on the wire (bends, crimps, etc, those little thimbles would help out). And the method used to close the loop. The small pieces are affected more by the wire size. The stress concentrations are roughly the same. The malleability stays the same throughout, but the effect is increased since the piece is so small, a bit of deformation can more easily cause the piece to lose its grip, but the piece itself will not 'fail'. Overall, I am surprised the stopper failed, but as we all know batch sampling will not catch 100% of faulty. Batch sampling with good process control does catch the big majority of them, so in general there is nothing to worry about. I am sure with a good email and sending the piece back to BD, they will replace it.

I don't believe anything they say...

I would hope that the shrubbery would look at the chaos he has caused in the past with some of his nominations and go for some one more pleasing to everyonethis first time, however, this would then leave him to go for broke with an ultra-conservative when Rehnquist goes down for the count.

All this stuff is great, It makes my brain hurt too. Reference point is everything.

So since any part of the universe could be considered "local" by it's inhabitants, none of the Universe is expanding? More like: The Laws of Physics are valid anywhere in the Universe, and the only "point" with "zero expansion" is a single point. The space between any two points is increasing, and the rate of expansion increases as the distance between the two points increases. So the "Space" between the Earth and the sun is in fact expanding. Or: You don't know shit. The universe does not have many inhabitants, or matter, or anything else but space. So, yes for the inhabitants, their local space is not expanding, but it is the distance between these local spaces that is increasing. To make your argument true, matter would also need to expand. Since the space just above earth would also be expanding, which would cause an increase in circumference just above earth, but the earth itself is not increasing (unless mater expands as well). Somewhere in there the expansion of space has to take into account matter, which what is considered 'local'. If I remember right, physicist consider 'local' to be the milky way galaxy, not just the solar system. I also know shit, he is a good friend of mine.

If you want, you can send me the receipt and your credit card number. I am sure I can find a use for them, (or at least just your cc number)... Customer service is no more for many, many, many companies. It really sucks.
-
So where do you really stand on this issue? (however, I tend to agree. I just try not to believe anything a politician says until I see it really happen)
-
The 'local' part of the universe is not expanding. For example, the space between the earth and sun is not expanding. This gives us a constant measure. Plus by examining the speed of galaxies far far away, and comparing to ones that are closer, we can see that the farther away a galaxy is, the faster they are moving away. Since the expansion is not constant, we know that things are really expanding

stale camel toe? you might want to see your doctor about that...

what's a preposition? Is that like a dangling modifier or a predicative adjective?
