chores and not much else on Saturday Sunday climbed Ain't Misbehavin and the 3-pitch route to the right of it in Leavenworth. Good, fun 5.7 climbs that look like they did not get much traffic. With the quick approach, I a a bit surprised. I would recommend them as a couple of climbs for a relaxing day. However, if you are a beginning leader, the 3-pitch climb may not be the best, as the pro kind of sucked. I only placed 1 piece each on the 2nd and 3rd pitches, and they were a full 100 ft. long, though the climbing was mostly 5.5-5.6.

I used to fly the sea-tac to lax route a couple times a month. Flying over Yosemite was usually the highlight. On a clear day, the view is great. Sometimes, you can also get a great look at the Needles a bit farther south.

Just guessing, but the dirt will land on the on thes other routes and turn to mud and stay caked on there. In the summer, it can easily be brushed off?

I was actually a bit impressed with the article. It was not the usual dribble about extreme sports, pushing it to the limit, andrenaline junky crap, etc...

Do you think all athletes that are on top of their game are dopers then, whatever the sport? (cycling, olympics, basketball, climbing, etc.)

Isn't it amazing that all of the real facts shows that Lance is in the right, and all the naysayers just put him down because he is so good but have no facts to back it up.

The same Lance who slammed his former team, because they asked him to take a physical before they'd pay his salary. The same Lance who preaches loyalty, but dumped his wife for Sheryl Crow after 3 children. It goes on. The guys no saint, as much as the US press loves to treat him like one. At the same time, Lance gave all of his tour de france winnings to his team for doing so well. He did not dump his wife, they got a divorce and who really knows the reasons why (how many people in this country get divorced, isn't the rate over 50% nowadays, and many of them have children too). I agree that no one is a saint, but Lance stands above most.
