If we all get fired for this, how will we be able to get payed for our spray?
-
definitely a benefit, i think I am going to go bid on these!!!

Anyone up for some rock climbing tonight. I can be at Index or Exit 32/38 by 5:30? Index is my preference, but any rock would be good.

When did those bolts get added to that last pitch? Its been awhile since I have been up there, but I remember that pitch being really poorly protected, especially when I was as tired as I was. Enjoy the route, it is great!!!

I wonder what it feels like to be 167 years old... Happy Birthday!!!

So who thinks that Dorothy was just on a bad trip, instead of getting knocked out by the tornado? Seeing munchkins, flying monkeys, and a tin man somethine was definitely not right.

Now that is some f*#ked up shit ... Glad none of that shit goes on here, this is much more fun!!!

I appreciate the work you have done Chris, and just remember people will always complain about everything... I also know, that if I want detail, I will buy your super topo, if I don't, I won't. My choice, my responsibility...

It's been tough, I have been hiding in a corner watching for the past few years, and I finally comfortable enough to post without getting slammed.

It is amazing the change this site has gone through. We went from a complete spray fest to a calm site where people are not afraid to post. Why would anyone want to hang out at northwesthikers.net anyway?
-
That site looks great, I'm going to have to spend some time reading those articles... Is it published in paper, or only online?

The mags are just out there to make money, and talking about the clean rock of Yose, and Boulder makes money. Washington has great routes on both rock and mountain, but there are not many mag sellers around... Maybe we should start a 'Northwest Climbing Mag' and focus on The Cascades and Beckey. Or maybe we should just climb and enjoy the lack of coverage, which also means less crowds.

Dude, I'd be there expect I am going to be out of state... Have a for me

R&I has been on a Yosemite kick for awhile now. Many covers and articles on Yose. I don't mind too much, but at the same time I know that there is a shitload of great climbers that do not hale from Yosemite.

I am a bit older, turning 18 was a long time ago. And I know that I have done many things that I know were pretty dumb. Some of them could have got me killed as well. I am glad that I didn't sign up for the military, as that would have been one additional way that I could have been killed, but I chose on my own way not to sign up. That sucks.

Give it money or send off to fight in a war, it is all VOLUNTARY!!!! Credit Card companies sell the ease to buy things, and low interest rates. The military sells training, team work and travel. Credit card companies do not tell you how easy it is to get in a shitload of debt, and the military does not tell you that you can die (I believe it is in the paperwork you sign though). I do agree the military is a much worse choice than a credit card, but in the end they are both voluntary. Also, parents should not be complaiing about recruiters. Parents should be teaching their kids to make responsible, informed choices that they agree with in their heart. Not make decisions because someone is trying to sign you up for the military or sign you up for a credit card. If parents (with some teachers help) have taught their kids to make good decisions, then it should not be up to the parent to scare the recruiter away. They should know that their kids will make the right decision. Oh, but I guess I forgot many parents these days don't take an interest in their kids lives and upbringing.

Dude, how could I forget Millard! With a name like that he is tops by far!!!

I thought Bush Sr. was the greatest president of all time

I like how people complain about aggressive military recruiters, but you don't hear as much about aggressive college recruiters, credit card company recruiters, or other types of aggressive marketers. They are all the same. They are all just marketers. The people complaining against the military recruiters are just anti-war and want no one to sign up and they look for any excuse to fight against war.

thanks bro. There are way too many 'non-profits' out there that are really in it for themselves. choose who you give your money too wisely.
