Will anyone stop using these cams because of the couple of incidents?

Dont ask Joe, he will admitt he does not know the history well, you should ask Jim. As far as I know the pins got smashed down my Ken. Know one know what happened to him. I guess he did not agree with them. I was like that when I started climbing there in Aug of 96.

Back to the topic, I don’t think I will stop using aliens. I have climbed at Paradise forks a few times and the rock there is bulletproof. I have no idea if the cam failed because of the user of the manufacture? We will never know. Question? Who is going to stop using aliens because of a couple injuries involving failing cams?

I will have to admit, i am not computer savy (spend to much time climbing and being broke). Which means I just surf the active topics. So they are all in the same forum is far as I can see. Thanks for the advise, but realy practice what you preach, PS: Still bitter about IB thread.

Kevbone's climbing resume: Currently I have been climbing your mother. Over and over again. I would say she is about hard 4th class right now. I think a crucial hold is going to break off soon, which might raise the grade to 4 14.c. I have sent many 4th class climbs I even put up a 3rd class once. It was epic. I was on it for 5 minutes.

RuMR, you dont climb, but have knowledge of gear. You must work at REI. Are you a member? Or do you even have a member?

Bill, thanks for the advice, but here on the spray cite of all spray cites, thin skin is not advisable. RuMR and a few others, decided to pick on me when I was asking about info on a climb, I approached it with a serious question. They slammed away and I realized this site sucks! The entire site sucks! Why do I keep logging on and coming back for more? Well because it’s pure entertainment. It’s better than prime time TV. Being able to make fun, and be made fun of while hiding behind our computers is pure genius. Im sure RuMR is a fine person but his log in persona blows ass. And that goes for a lot of chumps on this site. So from here out, its open season. Two can play at this game. Its called childish. And RuMR started it!!

This thread is hilarious! I did not climb IB this weekend. Since you can’t read, Ill spell it out for you. I climbed a peak. No bolts, for that matter hardly any gear either. Thank got is was 5.6 or easier. Just north of Index. Great views, nice climb.
