  1. i'll PM you - everyday is friday for me...
  2. i sent jeremy and dave's emails to don before these posts with what i knew from dave himself.
  3. i got them to open the box in the back last weds. over the phone, then made the trip. ah, what a sweetheart she was...persistent looking effort ('oh wait, maybe this is it')! i think you have a few days to wait now...
  4. i heard you like nature hikes, bob.
  5. whatever marketing you listen too, do no go thinking they are the end all -- these break, pop you out, and the guys at BD will be the first to tell you they're really not for dropping cliffs when you call about a warranty. they have their place, though, and I agree we're far from a super-duper AT binding. I've skied/owned several models in the past decade, all with some frustrations.
  6. make that the GREEN for flood watch, rather!!!
  7. some good fun stretching that pitch, mike? hope? hope for some cold temps, of course - freeeeeezing levels above 6000' for the rest o' the week! the purple equals flood warning..... (didn't have a good graphic for fraser valley)
  8. can't keep your hands off - huh, mike? how about the long weekend for YOU? no break from 29* big ones? I feel sorry for YOU with the load YOU're carrying.
  9. it gets you right into the groove quick - no problem. i did it on Repentence back in NH a couple of christmas's ago. it was 'out', but you know, not really. signal if interested anyone...
  10. Another thought - anyone available JUST Tuesday or mon/tues? The folks I'm likely to be with are not free tuesday.
  11. Trying to take advantage of four straight days - hope, lill., baker (death picnic), etc. or? I got funneled into a threesome scenario, i'm not committed and if someone else comes along, I'll listen. That person would also be solid on 4's, which means you'd do 5's with me, too.
  12. zat vood bee zee death picnic and death banquet climbz!!! yah!
  13. how about rands and slippers?
  14. your max return day? WI level? have tentative plans, nothing set in stone yet.
  15. maybe not so crowded? today's report - gushing at the bottom (it's a creek, after all) and punched through the creek bed approaching.
  16. moat mountain brewery just north of n. conway on 16 -- 20 oz. glasses of good brew!!
  17. Sorry to hear about your unkind encounters with locals. I'm happy to have grown up in my climbing there - I'm not mean and never really had bad encounters. I was a 'local', am friends with many kind 'locals' and maybe they were masshole 'locals' that sucked. there's all sorts of good people there, and of course a share of blow holes. too bad you folks found some. BTW, dropline was in well for a few days, but between my trips we got rain which funneled into the middle of it, completely splitting it into a ~2 foot deep camel toe, with a hairy weak looking mess spewed out halfway down. sure, it would have been climbable, but heaaaadyyy!
  18. it's s'posed to be snowing tonight - i need a school cancellation here!!!!!
  19. dru, brief respite did look good. that's what we intended to do, after a planned cruise of the not so three pitch cruel pool exploration . we were going to whack over to it after the first couple pitches, but CP just kept going and beckoning - oh well, no vert, but a good days outing for sure.
