  1. Definitely. And I did have the pigeon when I was there...incredible. Lots of little bones! But be ready to sit at a table with a bunch of other folks...which is fine except the couple we were sitting next to (two dudes) were going though a bad break-up. sickie
  2. Same for me. Something about hurling your cookies... Well, I'm glad I'm not alone now.
  3. That's cyclocross buddy! Some of us do that for fun on the weekends!
  4. ...into "Drive Sober Save Lives" sign. Classic.
  5. In Portland, I just went to a place called Pine State Biscuits on SE Belmont. The best biscuits I have ever had. And the signature sandwich is out of control...it's called a Reggie Deluxe: Fried chicken, bacon, egg, cheese in a biscuit, covered in gravy.
  6. Check the link Camilo posted.
  7. Why thank you! Yeah, did the cookie thing in both places several times, but to no avail. No worries, just throwing it out there to see if there was an obvious issue/solution. Thanks Porter
  8. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if it's even related to the upgrade (though this problem began with the upgrade) but when I to the the log in page and log in, it immediately takes me to the forum...which is good. But I don't actually get logged in. I have to do it a second time and then I am finally in. It's not a major issue since I eventually get in, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else. Thank you, my donation will be in shortly.

    8.5%...that's worthy.
  10. Good job Joe! I'm curious, in retrospect, are you confident that you were on the right ridge on SS? Coming down Middle, did you have a good view of the route? I'm just surprised it was as difficult as you thought it was. I'm also wondering if you would have started earlier from Pole Creek so that it was just getting light when you hit the Bowling Alley.
  11. She didn't come with any. Just a baret, that 'dress', some cork boots and a sixer of PBR tallboys.
  12. She just left and I only got her first name.
  13. Sorry, my hands were shaking when I took the picture.
  14. As Bill suggested in the old thread, having some cc.com shirts there to buy would be a great idea.
  15. Impressive. Would be even cooler looking down on that from up on the mountain. [img:left]http://www.offpistemag.com/blog/UserFiles/image/fire_02.jpg[/img]
  16. Yeah, butcha ya better use a different attachment!
  17. Doug Fir has some great pre-fest grub!
  18. Fresh Air replayed Terri's interview with him from 1997: NPR Interesting cat.
  19. Not sure who keeps records of this stuff, but I say go for it. 7 hours is probably doable if jogging the entire route is doable for you. The crux is the bowling alley. If you can get through that quickly and unscathed, then you're really only faced with a lot of energy-sucking scree to contend with everywhere else. Make sure you have the correct ridge picked out on the north side SS before you head up. It's pretty straight forward, but just find your route well in advance. Good luck!
  20. This is now free. You just need to pick it up. BEER Fridge!
