In Portland, I just went to a place called Pine State Biscuits on SE Belmont. The best biscuits I have ever had. And the signature sandwich is out of control...it's called a Reggie Deluxe: Fried chicken, bacon, egg, cheese in a biscuit, covered in gravy.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if it's even related to the upgrade (though this problem began with the upgrade) but when I to the the log in page and log in, it immediately takes me to the forum...which is good. But I don't actually get logged in. I have to do it a second time and then I am finally in. It's not a major issue since I eventually get in, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else. Thank you, my donation will be in shortly.

Good job Joe! I'm curious, in retrospect, are you confident that you were on the right ridge on SS? Coming down Middle, did you have a good view of the route? I'm just surprised it was as difficult as you thought it was. I'm also wondering if you would have started earlier from Pole Creek so that it was just getting light when you hit the Bowling Alley.

Not sure who keeps records of this stuff, but I say go for it. 7 hours is probably doable if jogging the entire route is doable for you. The crux is the bowling alley. If you can get through that quickly and unscathed, then you're really only faced with a lot of energy-sucking scree to contend with everywhere else. Make sure you have the correct ridge picked out on the north side SS before you head up. It's pretty straight forward, but just find your route well in advance. Good luck!
